No kidding. No direspect to our middle round picks, but do you remember the last really impact player we had who was taken in the 7th or later? Remember the last really awesome overslot signing we had? No disrespect to Chris McFarland, who I really like, but that's not enough. I mean, w/o even looking anything up, how about Scooter Gennett (overslot) and Mike Fiers (22nd rounder, major impact as a rookie). I am going to look closer at this later, but I think Seid catches too much flack. He also seems to have a knack for drafting late bloomers.

AZL Indians 8 AZL Brewers 4 Box Score The Brewers scored single runs in 4 separate innings but the Indians scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th alone. At that point it was 8-4, and that is how it ended. [sarcasm]TV drama hero[/sarcasm] Clinton T. Coulter went 1-2 with 2 BB and a HBP. His .296/.433/.437 line is holding strong in the middle of this sterile offense. Dustin Houle went 2-4. Houle is so young still (18 until Nov.) that you just have to have patience. He is hitting .286 with 1 BB and 1 XBH over his last 10. 9-hitter Dionis Hinojosa went 3-4, all singles, and added a SB. With a .747 OPS on the year, I have no idea why Dionis is hitting 9th in this lineup. Alan Sharkey hit a 2B for the only A-Crew XBH. On the mound, Eduard Reyes (an egregious snub in my P50) started well. He made 15 outs giving up just 2 H 2 R 1 ER 3 BB 6 K 2 WP with a 6:2 GO:FO. Reyes has really had a fantastic year. At just 6'0" and 174 lbs, Reyes will have to overcome the small pitcher stigma to succeed. Jono Armold got destroyed before Alex Lavandero finished with a scoreless inning. I am going to write a Bruce Seid defense post here shortly, but I have to wonder what the heck Bruce and company saw in this kid to pop him in the 9th round of the 2012 draft? FIELDING E: Ortega (13, fielding), Rivera (4, fielding), Harris (6, throw). DP: (Reyes, E-Ortega-Sharkey). Game Log

Brewers edge Owlz in extras 5 hours ago • Independent Record Michael Turay’s home run did more than win Thursday’s game for the Helena Brewers. It helped Helena snap a seven-game losing skid, helped Brent Suter pick up his fourth victory on the mound and got the Brewers off to a good start in Orem, Utah. Turay slammed a bomb over the left-field fence at Parkway Crossing Stadium in the 10th inning Thursday night, lifting the Brewers to a 5-4 win over the Owlz. The run came after the Brewers were shut down for seven straight innings following a four-run outburst in the second frame. Orem tied the game in the bottom of the fifth when Jonathan Walsh came home on an error by Emmanuel Quiles. The Brewers catcher was attempting to pick off Walsh at third. The Owlz nearly tied it again in the home half of the 10th, but the Brewers gunned down Wade Hinkle at home plate on the relay throw from left field to secure the win. Alfredo Rodriguez and Quiles each had two hits for the Brewers, while Jose Pena — who was assigned to Helena earlier in the day — went 1 for 4 with a home run and a pair of RBIs in his Helena debut. The right fielder was promoted from the Arizona League Brewers. Suter threw five innings of two-hit relief for Helena, striking out eight in the process. Taylor Mangum picked up his first save after pitching a scoreless 10th inning. The Brewers will try to make it two in a row when they face the Owlz again tonight. NOTE: Kevin Berard was released from the Brewers on Thursday, according to transactions on the Pioneer League website. Chris McFarland's Reaction

Manatees swept by Blue Jays 08/17/2012 10:29 PM ET By Frank Longobardo / Brevard County Manatees DUNEDIN, Fla. - The Brevard County Manatees were doubled up by the Dunedin Blue Jays, 4-2 on Thursday night at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. The 'Tees were swept in the three-game set by the Jays and finishes its season series with Dunedin, 5-13 and 0-9 on the road. Manatees (28-25 second half, 57-64 overall) starting pitcher Nick Bucci (1-1, 1.32) had his first struggles of the season with Brevard as he allowed three runs (two earned) in 4.2 innings of work. He gave up four hits, walked five and struck out six. The 'Tees jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first thanks to a solo homer from Nick Shaw, but Dunedin (28-23, 70-48)tied it up in the bottom of the inning on a RBI ground out from Jon Talley. It remained 1-1 until the bottom of the fourth, as Marcus Knecht led the inning off by reaching on an error by Mike Walker. The Jays would then make the Manatees pay for that mistake as Pierce Rankin hit a two-run homer to give Dunedin a 3-1 lead. Brevard would cut it to a 3-2 Blue Jays advantage with a two-out RBI single from Shaw, but that's all the 'Tees would get the rest of the way. Dunedin added an insurance run in the bottom of the seventh on a RBI triple by Knecht off of Thomas Keeling. Shaw was the only Manatee with a multi-hit game. Keen, Jason Rogers and Franklin Romero Jr. had the other Brevard County hits. Along with his one hit, Rogers walked three times. The Manatees have now fallen to fourth place in the jumbled North division race, two games back of first place Tampa. Dunedin is now in second as they are one game back and Lakeland is in third, 1.5 games back of the Yankees. Brevard County will continue their road trip with a three-game set against the Clearwater Threshers (27-25, 63-55), who are just a half game behind the 'Tees for fourth place. The series will open on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and Matt Miller (1-0, 3.60) will get the ball for his second start with the 'Tees. Miller allowed two runs in five innings of work for the win in his first start with Brevard, last Saturday against Tampa. Southpaw Jesse Biddle (8-5, 3.45) will toe the rubber for the Threshers.

Helena 5 Orem (Angels) 4 Box Score Tyler Wagner started but was not his best. He got 11 outs while giving up 6 H 3 R 3 ER 4 BB 2 K 1 HR with a 4:2 GO:FO. He is a work in progress, but you cannot teach 95. I wonder what he is sitting at as a SP? Mike Francisco stranded a Wagner runner. Brent Suter came in and had a very good night. 5 IP 2 H 1 R 0 ER 1 IBB 8 K 5:1 GO:FO for the Ivy League kid. He is having a pretty nice season. Taylor Mangum saved it for a tough win. Alfredo Rodriguez (2-4 BB) and Emmanuel Quiles (2-5) had big games for the Brewers but the hero was Michael Turay with the 10th inning homer to win the game. Jose Pena homered in his 1st game after the promotion. Ruben Ozuna chucked out a guy on the bases to end the game. By the way, I forgot to mention Raul Mondesi Jr's OF assist from last night. What an arm that kid has. HE is rapidly approaching double digits. Game Log Holy crap, check out this ending. Orem Bottom of the 10th Pitching Change: Taylor Mangum replaces Brent Suter. Jonathan Walsh walks. Wade Hinkle grounds into a force out, first baseman Adam Giacalone to shortstop Alfredo Rodriguez. Jonathan Walsh out at 2nd. Wade Hinkle to 1st. Michael Bolaski called out on strikes. Chevy Clarke doubles (5) on a fly ball to left fielder Ruben Ozuna. Wade Hinkle out at home on the throw, left fielder Ruben Ozuna to shortstop Alfredo Rodriguez to catcher Emmanuel Quiles.

Dunedin (Jays) 4 Brevard County 2 Box Score Nick Bucci is back but he still working out the kinks. He was dominating at times but uneven in the end. 4.2 IP 4 H 3 R 2 ER 5 BB 6 K 1 HR 2 WP 1 HBP 4:3 GO:FO. Wild Thomas Keeling spared Bucci further damage by stranding two of his runners. Casey Medlen struck out 2 in a scoreless inning. The top 3 hitters (Reggie Keen, Nick Shaw, Jason Rogers) in the lineup were 4-7 with a HR SB 5 BB and a HBP. The rest of the lineup went 1-24 with 0 BB. I am DONE-din with Dunedin at this point. They are killing us this past week or so it seems. Game Log

Grand Junction (Rockies) 5 Helena 4 Box Score Helena sandwiched 7 scoreless innings with two 2-run innings as they came up 1 run short. By the way, does any team tinker with their lineup more than the Helena Brewers? Tonight, Yonki Hernandez (2-4 2B 3B BB) led off and he was perfect for the role. Chris McFarland (1-4 BB) was on twice and Alfredo Rodriguez (2-3 2B BB) thrice. Adam Giacalone (1-3 2B) had a SAC fly. 8-hitter Ruben Ozuna went 1-3 with a BB and a SB. On the hill, Leonard Lorenzo started well but finished not well. He K'ed 6 and BB'ed 1 in 5 IP but now I have run out of nice things to say. Connor Whalen has been a rock in the pen for Helena and he threw 2 more scoreless innings tonight. Joel Pierce threw a very boring final inning. Check out 2012 10th overall pick David Dahl's line. High picks are exciting. Game Log

'Tees edged on Jays walk-off 08/15/2012 9:53 PM ET By Frank Longobardo / Brevard County Manatees DUNEDIN, Fla. - The Brevard County Manatees were one out of way from sending Wednesday night's game into extra innings, but the Dunedin Blue Jays had other plans as Kevin Pillar's RBI single handed the 'Tees their second straight loss as they fell 2-1 at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. With the game tied 1-1 heading into the bottom of the ninth, Greg Holle relieved Brevard County (28-24 second half, 57-63 overall) starter Drew Gagnon. Holle retired Justin Jackson to start the inning but then allowed a one-out walk to Kenny Wilson. Wilson then stole second and Jonathan Jones proceeded to strike out looking for the second out of the frame. Wilson's stolen base proved costly to the 'Tees as Pillar then stepped up and singled to center to bring home Wilson and give Dunedin (27-23, 69-48) their second one-run win of the series against Brevard. Dunedin got on the board first with a run in the bottom of the third. Marcus Knecht led off the inning with a single to left and then advanced to second on a fielding error from Nick Shaw, which allowed Jon Berti to reach first. Knecht would score two batters later on a RBI groundout off the bat of Wilson. The one unearned run is all that the Jays would get off of Gagnon (0-2, 3.27) as he had his best outing with Brevard. He went eight strong innings and yielded just four runs. Gagnon did not walk a batter and recorded five strikeouts. The Manatees tied the game up in the top of the seventh thanks to a two-out solo home run by Franklin Romero Jr., his first of the season. Jason Rogers went 3-for-4 and Reggie Keen added two hits as well in the loss. Brevard County will look to salvage the series finale against the Blue Jays on Thursday night at 6:35 p.m. Nick Bucci (1-0, 0.00) will toe the rubber for the 'Tees. Bucci has recorded 12 strikeouts in nine innings of work over two starts with Brevard. The Blue Jays will counter with Cody Evans (0-1, 9.00). Evans gave up five runs in three innings of work in his last start against Daytona last Friday. Box Score You have to hand it to Drew Gagnon. He stepped up with a dominating performance against a pretty good hitting team in Dunedin. 8 IP 5 H 1 R 0 ER 0 BB 5 K 1 HBP 9:5 GO:FO for Drew. Gagnon is a perfect example of why Rookie Ball numbers do not matter. Trust the scouts down in Rookie ball. Gagnon will finish somewhere around 150 IP for the season. He has been a horse. Greg Holle walked off the Dunedin Jays mainly because of a 1-out BB. Franklin Romero Jr. made the only BC dent with a solo shot. Jason Rogers, who seems to be getting better as he moves up the chain, went 3-4 with 3 1B and Reggie Keen added two 1B of his own along with an OF assist. Rogers has 11 homers and 10 steals on the year and a .403 OBP. It was Nick Shaw's 19th error that led to the Gagnon run. You will see pretty low error totals across the Brewers' upper minors this year. Without looking, Shaw is among the leaders. I think Mike Walker has 20. Game Log

I know X-TAI is a big Burgos guy. Maybe you took my comment about him wrong? I think he will be a very good MLB pitcher. He has obviously figured something out. I just meant the national guys will all be commenting how he came out of nowhere even though he was a 6th round pick and everything. Us Brewers fans have known about him for years! I really hope to see Hiram in Milwaukee in September. He has been my avatar for over a year now! -

Certainly not for this year only. And, yes, sometimes you have to predict that a certain player will develop. That said, the difference between 10 and 25 is very little. Same with 26-50. Like I said in another thread, there is lots of depth here. Lots of low B grade kinds of guys, which still means they profile as MLB average or so. That bodes very well for this teams future. -

1. Jean Segura - The more I see, the more I like him. Reminds me of a pre-injuries Furcal with a touch less usable speed and arm. 2. Wily Peralta - Has the best power repertoire in the system. 3. Tyler Thornburg - Was #1 on my last list. I can dig why people see a RP, but I still see a #3 with the improved control. 4. Jimmy Nelson - The breakout star of 2012. A half click behind Peralta's power stuff. 5. Taylor Jungmann - Steady as she goes. That makes it four straight pitchers with #3 or better upside in my book. 6. Hunter Morris - The Southern League MVP improved every single weakness he needed to. More patience, more power and better defense have led to his rise. 7. Victor Roache - Easily the highest offensive ceiling in the system. 8. Scooter Gennett - More pop and defense than many thought pre-season. He is a starting caliber 2B. 9. Clint Coulter - Fantastic offensive debut. He swings at strikes and is learning to drive them. 10. Orlando Arcia - Such a shame he lost this season. Will he become a power threat like his brother Oswaldo, or is he more Segura-ish. 11. Tyrone Taylor - I think this guy has captured all of our imaginations with his impressive debut. 12. Mark Rogers - Now that the stuff is back, he has flown up my list. 13. Ariel Pena - Stuff is very similar to Rogers. So is the control. 14. Johnny Hellweg - Primed for a Jimmy Nelson-like breakout next season. You will be able to tell when he starts striking everyone out. 15. Jorge Lopez - You know, Jake Odorizzi did not start out gangbusters either. His upside and projectability should be unquestioned. 16. Khris Davis - "Krush" has major league bat speed and ridiculous numbers. I feel confident about his major league translation. 17. Mitch Haniger - Bruce Seid gushed when talking about him. I can see why. Power, patience, speed and a gun gives him four potentially average or better tools. How his contact tool develops will tell the story. 18. Jose Pena - The most devastating Rookie Ball hitter this side of Tyrone Taylor. He finally has made the jump the Brewers were hoping for. 19. Nick Bucci - We know the Brewers love him and he has earned that love with his performance. Double-A awaits the Baby-Faced Assassin. 20. Hiram Burgos - Super helium guy who will likely produce Fiers-esque surprise when he finds success in the bigs. Brewers fans know better. 21. Drew Gagnon - Goal for the off-season; develop one more average or better pitch. The FB is above average and he has an idea out there. 22. Damien Magnifico - Could easily be a top-10 guy at this time next year, especially if he starts. FB sits in the high-90's and he has very little wear and tear on the arm. 23. Caleb Gindl - This is the first time Caleb has struggled as a baseball player. I still see a guy who could be the strong half of a successful platoon. Do not count him out. 24. Logan Schafer - Schafer's power is better, but he is sacrificing contact. 4th OF for me, but a good one. 25. Chris McFarland - McFarland has a dynamic bat at a premium position. I was disappointed I could not slot him higher because I love him. It is just a deep system right now. 26. Gian Rizzo - Numbers to die for. Paging Bed Badler for a scouting report. 27. Taylor Green - I am pretty disappointed in Green. He looks like a bottom 1/3 starter at 3B at best, but is more of a bench bat. 28. Cam Garfield - .900 OPS catchers are exciting. 29. Yadiel Rivera - Tremendous D. Everything else is way behind and he has been around longer than you think. 30. Carlos Belonis - 17 year old is playing very well in the DSL. Hopefully he taps into his power. 31. Elvis Rubio - He has cooled a bit, but this 17 year old was having an Arcia-like season. Takes his walks. 32. Eric Arnett - Really nice bounce back season. I sniff some starts from Eric next season. 33. Jed Bradley - This has nothing to do with his previous abilities. It is all about his current stuff. Get well, Jed. 34. Zachary Quintana - Should not be embarrassed by his debut and there is a lot to like. Will be a key cog at Helena next season. 35. Jason Rogers - Incredible season. I am still not sure what to make of him. 36. Chadwin Stang - He is a young 23 and he is dynamic. Has a chance to stick in CF. 37. Michael Reed - He dropped a bit for me. He had a chance to really take the Pioneer league by storm, but it just seems like he kind of coasted. Hopefully the injury is not serious because he could be a big riser. 38. Ruben Ozuna - Did not take the jump I had hoped, but there is some lighting in the bat. 39. T.J. Mittelstaedt - He does it all and he does it decent enough. A steal in the 44th round. 40. Nick Ramirez - Does not seem to get it. Power is awesome but he needs to stop making so many outs. 41. Mike Walker - Really made some adjustments as the season wore on. If you do not count [sarcasm]Clint Coulter[/sarcasm] or Taylor Green, he is the cream of the Milwaukee 3B prospect crop. 42. Tyler Wagner - Similar to Magnifico except he throws his FB 8 MPH slower. Amazingly, that still means he has mid-90's heat. Could be a big riser with a solid off-season. 43. Edgardo Rivera - This could be very conservative as Rivera could be a gem. Rumors that a team was trying to hide him before the draft is fun, but if that team was the Brewers, I can certainly see why. 44. Santo Manzanillo - Lost season for this reliever. Still the highest rated RP for me. 45. Seth Harvey - Terrific numbers and impressive velo. 46. Alan Williams - Power lefty who, if healthy for 2013, could be in the majors fast. 47. Cody Scarpetta - Kind of an unknown right now. If healthy and with his stuff back, he probably profiles as the best RP in the system. 48. Josh Prince - The upside is not there, but he appears poised for the Nashville CF job and lead off spot in 2013. 49. Adam Giacalone - Lots of singles. Driving the ball is his main goal for next year at WI. 50. Andy Moye - A Mass Haas fav, he was fantastic at WI before falling apart in BC. Brooks Hall - Huge fall. Could he go Burgos next season? Kentrail Davis - Unimpressive. Maxwell Walla - One step per year guy. Too bad he still needs to take 3-4 more steps. Raul Mondesi Jr. - Big arm and power, very little feel. Sthervin Matos - Lost season. Heard he is in the States rehabbing. Sean Halton - The Brewers simply do not see it with him. Morris is coming for his spot next season. Joel Dicent - Stateside now and super young. He has time. Milton Gomez - A small step back at 18, but he is off an injury. Angel Ortega - Very similar to Yaddy Rivera's first season. Juan Ortiz - One of the better DSL hitters at 17. Francisco Castillo - The star of the DSL team, he has very little power, but tons of speed. Kyle Heckathorn - Move to relief is disappointing. Matt Miller - Big time sleeper for a Nelson-like jump. Ben McMahan - Impressive season. On the Jason Rogers path. Malcom Dowell - Super raw, but he really has made a jump this year. Dustin Houle - Super raw and young, they need to take their time with him. Joel Pierce - Super raw and young but he was not good. Renaldo Jenkins - Decent season in limited time. Yunior Santana - Big power. Little contact. Danny Keller - Huge disappointment. -

You think that was work? My personal P50 list is making my head spin. This system is incredibly deep with interesting guys. Tons of B-/C+ guys and a good handful of B prospects. Just trying to figure out where Jed Bradley belongs is maddening.

Missoula (D'Backs) 3 Helena 0 Box Score Heck of night for Leonard Lorenzo. 6 IP 5 H 1 R 1 ER 1 BB 12 K 2 WP 2 Balk 1:2 GO:FO. Obviously, that is his best start of the year. He now has a 47:19 K:BB over 48.1 IP. A couple more starts approaching this one would do wonders for his stock. As is, Lorenzo is certainly one to keep tabs on. Taylor Mangum allowed 2 runs in a close game over the final 3 innings, but it didn't matter as the offense for skunked. One who lacked need for tomato juice was Adam Giacalone who continues his torrid hitting. Lots and lots of singles but a .364 AVG and .911 OPS is very exciting. Emmanuel Quiles, a likeable bloke, also went 2-4 and Kevin Berard hit a 2B. Michael Reed, often overlooked with the Mondesi Caliber Cannon in RF, shot down a runner at home tonight. He has a handful of OF assists now. Game Log Lorenzo. Missoula Top of the 1st Pedro Ruiz strikes out swinging. Evan Marzilli called out on strikes. Jake Lamb strikes out swinging. Brevard drops series finale to Dunedin 08/09/2012 11:03 PM ET By Frank Longobardo / Brevard County Manatees http://www.milb.com/images/2012/08/09/LKtFOj6N.jpg Manatees starting pitcher Drew Gagnon allowed five runs in five innings as Brevard County fell 7-2 in Thursday night's series finale against the Dunedin Blue Jays. (Dennis Greenblatt/Hawk-Eye Sports Photography) VIERA, Fla. - The Brevard County Manatees fell behind early and couldn't catch up as they fell 7-2 to the Dunedin Blue Jays on Thursday night at Space Coast Stadium in the final game of a three-game set. Manatees (25-22 second half, 54-61 overall) starting pitcher Drew Gagnon (0-2, 3.83) was touched up for five runs on five hits in five innings of work. He walked three and fanned four and is still winless in eight starts with Brevard County. Dunedin (24-23, 66-48) took a 2-0 lead in the first inning thanks to back-to-back RBI doubles by Kevin Pillar and Jon Talley off of Gagnon. The 'Tees though would get one run back in the bottom of the inning as Reggie Keen and Nick Shaw led off the inning with back-to-back singles and then Keen scored on a Mike Walker ground out. The Blue Jays took a 3-1 lead in the second on a two-out RBI single from Jonathan Jones. Brevard would again cut Dunedin's lead to one run in the third on a two-out RBI single from Shea Vucinich that scored Jason Rogers. That would be all that the Manatees would get however as Dunedin padded its lead in the fourth starting with a lead-off double by Marcus Knecht and a walk drawn by Jon Berti. Two batters later, Jonathan Jones would clear the bases with a single to center as the 'Tees fell behind 5-2. After Dunedin's starter Sean Nolin departed the game after three innings, the Manatees were held in check by the Blue Jays' bullpen as Brevard could only muster three hits in the last six innings. Seth Harvey relieved Gagnon and struck out five in three innings of work, while allowing one run on two hits. Tommy Toledo pitched one inning and allowed one run as well. Rogers and Vucinich led the way at the dish for the 'Tees as they had two hits each. Rogers is hitting .342 in his last ten games, while Vucinich is hitting .305 in the second half of the season. The Manatees are now four games behind the division-leading Tampa Yankees (29-18, 59-55), who come to Viera for a three-game series beginning on Friday night at 6:35 p.m. Nick Bucci (0-0, 0.00) will get the ball for Brevard, while Tampa will counter with Jose A. Ramirez (5-5, 3.62). Box Score Drew Gagnon and Tommy Toledo each matched runs allowed with innings pitched pretty much doing the opposite of what they set out to do. Seth Harvey had more success with a very good 3 inning outing. Seth gave up 2 H 1 BB and 1 R while notching 5 K. He now has allowed 34 H and 2 HR with 57 K and 20 BB in 44.1 IP this season across 2 levels. Mix the numbers with a mid-90's heater, and you have yourself an interesting arm no doubt. At the plate, runs were a tough get. Jason Rogers continues his recent 10 game hot streak with a 2-4 night. Shea Vucinich also went 2-4. 1 BB and 0 XBH for this vaunted lineup. Game Log

Wow, Jorge Lopez has tumbled down some lists. Interesting. He is surely one of the toughest placements at this point, but he is still firmly in my top-20. -

If someone wanted write ups, they could steal mine as well for the Power 50 posting. From my understanding, there are formatting issues between all of the host switches that kind of limit what may be possible, at least easily possible. There are some back room discussions ongoing regarding a possible Link Reporter P50, so stay tuned. Trust me, it is not out of laziness that the P50 has not been updated. -
Missoula turns the tables 08/08/2012 11:20 PM ET http://www.milb.com/images/2012/08/08/suDhAkcN.jpg Alfredo Rodriguez took part in a double play in the top of the first. (Sleeping Giant Photography) Yesterday the Brewers exited the field with a shutout victory. Twenty-four hours later the Missoula Osprey returned the favor and handed Helena a 3-0 loss. The Osprey received strong pitching performances from Yoimer Camacho, Chase Stevens and Vince Spilker, the three of which combined for nine innings of work and zero runs. The trio limited the Brewers to just four hits, despite the Brewers entering the contest having recorded 43 hits in the last three games. Camacho was particularly strong on the evening. The Venezuelan native recorded eight strikeouts through six innings of work and earned his second victory of the season. Stevens was credited with a hold and Spilker received the save for his scoreless frame in the 9th. On the mound for the Brewers, Ryan Gibbard was tabbed with his third loss of the season. Gibbard pitched well through five innings allowing just three Osprey runners to cross the plate. Damien Magnifico followed Gibbard with four scoreless innings while striking out five. The victory improves Missoula's record to 26-12 overall and 8-3 in the second half. The loss drops Helena to 17-32 and pushes them to five games out of first place with a 4-7 second half record.
