'Tees edged by rival Cubs 07/24/2012 10:46 PM ET By Frank Longobardo / Brevard County Manatees VIERA, Fla. - The Brevard County Manatees recorded just five hits and struck out 13 times as they fell 4-3 to their rivals, the Daytona Cubs on Tuesday night at Space Coast Stadium. Manatees starting pitcher Jed Bradley (5-8, 4.93) tied a season-high by throwing seven innings, but allowed four runs - three earned - on seven hits. The 2011 first round pick walked three, threw two wild pitches and did not strike out a batter for the third start this season. Daytona jumped on Bradley and the 'Tees early as Matt Szczur and Rubi Silva both recorded RBI singles in the first to give the Cubs a 2-0 lead. A passed ball by Joey Paciorek with two outs in the second inning, scored Micah Gibbs as Daytona took a 3-0 lead. Brevard (17-14 second half, 46-53 overall) would answer with two runs of their own in the bottom of the second. Mike Walker led off the frame with a walk and two batters later Cody Hawn singled to put two on. Shea Vucinich then stepped in and recorded his 20th double of the season, which would plate Walker and make it a 3-1 game. Joey Paciorek would then reach on a fielding error by Daytona shortstop Elliot Soto, which allowed Hawn to score and put runners on the corners with one out. That would be all that the 'Tees would get though as both Franklin Romero Jr. and Nick Shaw struck out swinging to end the inning. It turned out that those two runs would be all that Brevard County would get off of Cubs (13-18, 43-56) starting pitcher Matt Loosen. Loosen, who is second in the Florida State League in ERA, yielded just three hits in six innings and struck out eight. The Cubs would score one more run off of Bradley and the 'Tees in the fifth as Rubi Silva's two-out triple plated Rebel Ridling and gave Daytona a 4-2 lead. Greg Holle would relieve Bradley in the eighth as kept Brevard in the game as he threw two perfect innings with three strikeouts. Brevard County plated one more run in the eighth on a two-out RBI single by Brock Kjeldgaard. In the ninth, Vucinich led off the inning with a single to left to put the tying run on base. After Vucinich though, the 'Tees would go down in order as they dropped their second straight game after winning four straight. The Manatees and the Cubs will close out their three-game series with a doubleheader at Jackie Robinson Ballpark on Wednesday with game one set to begin at 5:35 p.m. Brooks Hall (4-3, 3.97) will get the ball for the 'Tees in game one, while Eric Marzec (1-2, 2.84) will get the call for the second game. Daytona will counter with P.J. Francescon (1-4, 3.58) in the first game and southpaw Frank Del Valle (5-3, 3.68) will toe the rubber for game two.

I agree that this is the best course of action. I just listened to the Bruce Seid interview and he thinks he would be just fine in the corner OF or at 1B if catching doesn't work out. It seems for certain that Coulter starts in Helena next season if they do intend to keep him at C.

Brewers Position Prospects-Lower levels....
Tedaldtada replied to HiAndTight's topic in Brewers Minor League Talk
So, all you want is a scouting report on 12 Brewers hitters? Christ man, read the last week or two worth of link reports. Many of your questions can be answered from the information provided there. -
AZL Cubs 7 AZL Brewers 3 Box Score So apparently the Arizona Cubs are going to trot out Albert Almora, Dan Vogelbach and Jorge Soler in the 3-5 spots in the order. That is just plain sick. Almora debuted tonight and homered, naturally. Vogelbach and Soler were held in check. 2012 3rd rounder Zachary Quintana got the start and was pretty good except the Almora homer. 5 IP 6 H 4 R 3 ER 2 BB 4 K 1 HR 1 WP 7:1 GO:FO for Quintana. Quintana will certainly be inserted into my top-30-ish Brewers prospects. Danny Keller followed Quintana on the mound and did not fare well. 7 outs 6 H 3 R 2 ER 0 BB 1 K 4:0 GO:FO for Danny. Tyler Magnum, kept the worms on notice with 3 more GO while recording 5 scoreless outs. Magnum did allow one Keller baserunner to score. Jose Pena (2-4 3B BB) is putting up MVP numbers in Maryvale. Pena even added 2 OF Assists in this one. Edgardo Rivera (2-4 BB) is starting to heat up. If Rivera shows any semblance of a solid approach, we could be on to something (7:7 K:BB through 7 games). Clint Coulter went 0-1 with 2 BB while allowing his 12th and 13th PB's and 5th error of the season. This whole catcher bit has me a bit worried. Jose Sermo was 1-3 with a BB. Rounding out the bottom of the lineup was Angel Ortega (2-4) and Dionis Hinojosa (2-4 2B). Ortega committed his 10th error at SS. Game Log

Helena 5 Odgen (Dodgers) 4 Box Score Connor Whalen allowed it to be much closer than it should have but Helena pulled one out here tonight. Ryan Gibbard started and went 4 IP giving up 4 H 0 R 0 BB 3 K 1 WP with a 6:1 GO:FO. Michael White threw 2 scoreless with 3 K to earn the win and Damien Magnifico threw a 2 scoreless innings to record a hold. It was a pretty uninspiring effort at the plate. 2-hitter SS Alfredo Rodriguez went 1-2 with 2 BB. DH Michael Turay went 2-4 and 9-hitter 3B Andres Martinez went 1-3 as he crushed a home run. Adam Giacalone went 1-4, but he just missed having an opposite field homer in his 2nd AB. The ball ended up foul by just a few feet. Chris McFarland (1-4) made two really nice plays that I heard. The 1st play was a diving stop, pop and throw to end an inning. The 2nd play was a running over-the-shoulder basket catch in foul ground behind 1B. McFarland clearly has what it takes to be a plus defender at 2B, it is up to him to reach that ceiling. Game Log Odgen game story Seven Errors Lead to Raptors Loss 07/23/2012 12:44 AM ET By Brandon Hart HELENA, MONT. - The Ogden Raptors made a season-high seven errors in a 5-4 loss to the Helena Brewers Monday night at Kendrick Legion Field. Jose Capellan and Malcolm Holland each made two errors, and Corey Seager, Kevin Thompson and Devin Shines each had one. The seven errors led to three unearned runs in the game. In the fourth, leading 2-0, the Brewers scored two runs, one earned. Alfredo Rodriguez, Chris McFarland and Adam Giacalone each hit singles to start the inning, loading the bases. Emmanuel Quiles then hit into a double play that scored Rodriguez and moved McFarland to third. Raul Mondesi Jr. then hit a grounder to second that was misplayed by Holland, allowing McFarland to score an unearned run. In the fifth, the Brewers scored another unearned run. Tied 2-2, Andres Martinez led off the inning with a solo homer, his first of the season. Michael Reed then reached on a throwing error by Seager. After Rodriguez walked, McFarland flied out to center. Giacalone then hit a grounder to third. Thompson threw to second to try to start a double play, but Holland's throw to first was errant, allowing Reed to score, giving the Brewers a 3-2 lead. In the eighth, the Brewers tacked on their final unearned run. With two outs, Mondesi reached on a throwing error by Thompson, which put Mondesi at third base. Michael Turay followed with an RBI single to left, putting the Brewers ahaed 5-2. Despite the seven errors, the Raptors had a chance at the end to take the lead. In the ninth, trailing 5-2, Pat Stover and Capellan each singled to start the inning. After a Thompson strikeout, Holland grounded out to first, moving the runners to second and third. Jeremy Rathjen then walked to load the bases. Eric Smith then delivered a two-run single to right, with Rathjen moving to third. With the tying run at third and the go-ahead run at first, Shines struck out to end the game. Jake Hermsen was tagged with his fourth loss. The lefty worked four innings and allowed four runs, two earned on four hits. Michael Drowne was great out of the bullpen, throwing three hitless innings. Rathjen and Smith finished with two hits each as the only Raptors with a multi-hit game. The Raptors and Brewers continue their three-game series Tuesday. Lefty Matt Laney will start for the Raptors against Helena's Leonard Lorenzo. Game starts at 7:05 and can be heard on 97.5 Fox Sports Radio. Edit: I cleaned up my plethora of typos.

Palm Beach (Cardinals) 6 Brevard County 4 Box Score Drew Gagnon made his 5th straight start of 5+ innings for the Manatees. He also gave up his 1st homer since being promoted and was generally hit very hard. Still, if he qualified for the ERA title in the FSL he would be in Taylor Jungmann territory. Eric Arnett (2.2 IP 1 H 0 R 0 BB 3 K 1 WP 2:3 GO:FO) relieved him and was very good. Power lefty Alan Williams finished with s somewhat dirty scoreless inning. At the plate, Shea Vucinich (2-5 2B) and Brent Dean (2-4) were the only Ocean Sows with multiple hits. Reggie Keen went 1-3 with a BB. They were rallying late, but could not pull off the miracle. Nick Shaw was responsible for Gagnon's unearned runs with his 15th error of the season. Game Log The final push. Brevard County Bottom of the 9th Mike Walker singles on a ground ball to center fielder James Ramsey. Brock Kjeldgaard doubles (4) on a ground ball to left fielder Mike O'Neill. Mike Walker to 3rd. Idaho Falls (Royals) 8 Helena 7 Box Score Michael Reed (2-4 BB) got the start in CF as Tyrone Taylor did not return. Yonki Hernandez got the bump up the order as he and Reed set the table for Chris McFarland (3-5 2B SB), Alfredo Rodriguez (2-4 SB) and Raul Mondesi Jr. (1-5 HR). The bottom 4 Brewers hitters were 1-15 with 5 K. The 1 was a 3B for Ruben Ozuna. There were a number of pitchers who were decent but Joel Pierce (2.1 IP 0 H 0 R 0 BB 3 K) was literally unhittable as he put 7 down in order. Joel (19) has essentially had 3 terrible appearances and 4 great appearances so far in 2012. Michael Shaub (2 IP 2 H 1 ER 2 BB 3 K) was better than usual and Connor Whalen threw a scoreless inning. Martin Viramontes takes most of the blame on this night. Outfield assists: Hernandez, Yo (Shin at home), Reed (Shin at 2nd base). I guess they were tagged in the Shin twice. Game Log This was brimming with potential. Helena Bottom of the 1st Michael Reed singles on a fly ball to left fielder Ysmelin Alcantara. With Yonki Hernandez batting, wild pitch by Zeb Sneed, Michael Reed to 2nd. With Yonki Hernandez batting, wild pitch by Zeb Sneed, Michael Reed to 3rd. Yonki Hernandez walks. With Christopher McFarland batting, wild pitch by Zeb Sneed, Yonki Hernandez to 2nd. Christopher McFarland singles on a fly ball to right fielder Elier Hernandez. Michael Reed scores. Idaho Falls (Royals) 6 Helena 3 Box Score So, Tyrone Taylor left the game in the 4th inning effectively putting me on suicide watch. I was not listening but judging by Twitter, nothing has been indicated one way or another. Taylor was 1-2 before being removed. Michael Reed went 1-2 with 2 BB and 2 SB. Alfredo Rodriguez (2-4) is working back towards .300. Preston Gainey was by far the most effective Brewers pitcher tonight with the only blemish being a solo shot. 3 IP 2 H 1 R 1 ER 0 BB 5 K 1 HR for the formal Naval Academy student. Manny Ruiz was again used in low leverage short relief, so there's that. FIELDING E: McFarland (8, throw), Giacalone (5, throw). Game Log The Taylor sequence. Helena Bottom of the 3rd Tyrone Taylor grounds out, shortstop Adalberto Mondesi to first baseman Jared Schlehuber. Michael Reed walks. With Christopher McFarland batting, Michael Reed advances to 2nd on a balk. Christopher McFarland strikes out swinging. Michael Reed steals (5) 3rd base. Adam Giacalone strikes out swinging, catcher Travis Lane to first baseman Jared Schlehuber. Idaho Falls Top of the 4th Defensive Substitution: Ruben Ozuna replaces center fielder Tyrone Taylor, batting 1st, playing left field. Defensive switch from right field to center field for Michael Reed. Defensive switch from left field to right field for Yonki Hernandez. Carlos Garcia doubles (2) on a fly ball to left fielder Ruben Ozuna. Travis Lane grounds out, third baseman Andres Martinez to first baseman Adam Giacalone. Ethan Chapman called out on strikes. Adalberto Mondesi strikes out swinging. Also, does this indirectly indicate the Ruben Ozuna is a LF only?

Cardinals Drop Another Game to Manatees, 4-3 07/21/2012 10:11 PM ET By Juan Dorado/ Palm Beach Cardinals The Palm Beach Cardinals (14-16) could not hold off the Brevard County Manatees (17-12), as they took game three of the fur-game set, 4-3 on Saturday night at Space Coast Stadium in Viera, FL. With the No.12 pick in last yea's First Year Player Draft, Taylor Jungmann on the mound, the Cardinals knew they would be in for a fierce battle. The Cardinals got off to a bad start, as the Manatees jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning. Three of the first four hitters in the game connected for hits against starter Scott Schneider (1-2). Jason Rogers would double in Nick Shaw, who singled earlier in the first, while Mike Walker brought on Rogers with an RBI single. The Cardinals would answer with three runs in the fourth. Five consecutive hits would help them take a 3-2 lead. James Ramsey would start the hit parade with a lead off single. He was followed by an RBI triple by Alan Ahmady, while Chris Edmondson would drive in Ahmady to tie it up. Geoff Klein and Rainel Rosario would add back-to-back singles to end the hitting attack. Rosario's single would bring home Edmondson. In the bottom of the fifth, the Cardinals would lose their lead, as the Manatees would score two runs and take a 4-3 lead. The Manatees would use four consecutive hits of their own to score two runs. John Dishon, Reggie Keen, Jason Rogers and Mike Walker would all single, while Dishon and Keen scored the two runs. Schneider would exit the game after the frame, tossing five innings of four run baseball. He would drop his second straight game, as the offense could not come from behind. Manatees' relievers Eric Marzec would collect his third hold of the season, tossing two shutout innings. Casey Medlen would collect his 14th save of the season, tossing two shutout, flawless innings, while striking out three hitters. For the Cardinals, the loss would drop them to third place in the division as the Hammerheads would leap-frog them in the standings. The Cardinals will finish the series tomorrow night before returning to Jupiter to face the Hammerheads on Monday night. The Cardinals will send Ryan Sherriff (5-1) to face the Manatees, as they try and split the series.

'Tees win another one-run game 07/21/2012 11:11 PM ET By Frank Longobardo / Brevard County Manatees http://www.milb.com/images/2012/07/21/2XI4sCoW.jpg Brevard County starting pitcher Taylor Jungmann earned his eighth win of the season as the Manatees defeated the Palm Beach Cardinals, 4-3 on Saturday night. (Dennis Greenblatt/Hawk-Eye Sports Photography) VIERA, Fla. - The Brevard County Manatees won their fifth one-run game out of their last ten games overall, as they topped the Palm Beach Cardinals, 4-3 on Saturday night at Space Coast Stadium. 'Tees starting pitcher Taylor Jungmann (8-5, 3.67) earned his team-leading eighth win of the season as he allowed three runs in five innings. The 2011 first round draft pick yielded nine hits and struck out just one, but did not walk a batter. Brevard County (17-12 second half, 46-51 overall) jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first, thanks to back-to-back RBI hits with one out. Jason Rogers doubled home Nick Shaw to get the scoring started and Rogers would score one batter later on a Mike Walker single to left. Jungmann would run into his only real trouble in the game in the top of the fourth. The inning started with James Ramsey legging out an infield single to first. Alan Ahmady then tripled on a ball that center fielder Reggie Keen took a bad angle on to make it a 2-1 game. Chris Edmondson would drive home Ahmady to tie the game on Palm Beach's second infield single of the inning. Back-to-back singles from Geoffrey Kline and Rainel Rosario then gave the Cardinals (14-16, 45-52) a 3-2 lead with runners on second and third with no outs. Jungmann though would pitch around those five consecutive hits as he got Tyler Rahmatulla to fly out to center and Neal Pritchard to ground into an inning-ending 4-6-3 double play. The Manatees would regain the lead in the fifth as John Dishon led off the inning with a single to shallow left. He was then sacrificed over by Nick Shaw and would move to third on a wild pitch that was thrown with Reggie Keen at the dish. Later in Keen's at-bat, Dishon would score the tying run on a balk by Palm Beach starting pitcher Scott Schneider. Three consecutive singles by Keen, Rogers and Mike Walker would then load the bases for Brock Kjeldgaard. Kjeldgaard would give Brevard the lead on a sacrifice fly to center, but that's all the 'Tees would get as Rogers was thrown out trying to tag to third to end the inning. The duo of Eric Marzec and Casey Medlen out of the Manatees' bullpen would hold the Cards the rest of the way as they each threw two scoreless innings, with Medlen earning his 14th save of the season. Keen, Rogers and Walker had two hits each for Brevard as the 'Tees won for the fifth time in their last six games. Also with the win and a loss by the Tampa Yankees, the Manatees are in a three-way tie for first place in the North division. Brevard County will look to take the series from Palm Beach as the two teams close out their four-game set on Sunday beginning at 5:05 p.m. Drew Gagnon (0-0, 3.04) will take the hill for the 'Tees as he is still looking for his first win with Brevard County. Gagnon has given up no more than three runs and pitched no less than five innings in his first four starts with the Manatees. He also has not given up a home run in A+ yet. Palm Beach will give the ball to southpaw Ryan Sherriff (5-1, 3.51), who is 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA in three July starts. Box Score Taylor Jungmann continues to have success despite less than stellar strike out numbers. I recommend @Brevels on Twitter as he is the official scorer for the Manatees. Brandon provided multiple updates on Jungmann's night. The gist; lots of fastballs. 5 IP 9 H 3 R 3 ER 0 BB 1 K 8:2 GO:FO for Taylor tonight. Eric Marzec and Casey Medlen were fantastic over the final 4 frames as each went 2 innings. No runs were allowed, and Medlen struck out half of the batters he faced. At the plate, the usual suspects were on display. Reggie Keen and Jason Rogers each went 2-3 with a 2B and Rogers added a BB. Mike Walker went 2-3 with a BB and a SB. It is really becoming a lost season for Brock Kjeldgaard. Game Log Medlen was the man. Palm Beach Top of the 8th Pitching Change: Casey Medlen replaces Eric Marzec. James Ramsey flies out to right fielder John Dishon. Alan Ahmady called out on strikes. Chris Edmondson strikes out swinging. Palm Beach Top of the 9th Geoffrey Klein flies out to right fielder John Dishon. Rainel Rosario pops out to first baseman Jason Rogers in foul territory. Offensive Substitution: Pinch-hitter Cody Stanley replaces Tyler Rahmatulla. Cody Stanley strikes out swinging.

Indians 13 Brewers 5 F/7 Box Score The A-Crew took a beating in this one. Carlos Sosa is the only pitcher worth mentioning as he recorded 5 outs on a hit and 3 K. Maverick Lasker get hit very hard. It is impossible to spin off his rehab starts as promising. At the plate, speedy OF Edgardo Rivera went 3-3 with a BB from the leadoff spot. 2-man Dustin Houle added 2 hits. Jose Sermo hit a 2B and Mr. Cycle Deivi Mejia went 0-3. C Joe Andrade made his debut but did not record a hit. Andrade did commit 2 PB, of course. Game Log

Brewers 18 Indians 3 Box Score Deivi Mejia, who once was a castoff of the Colorado Rockies and who hasn't played in 2 weeks, got the start in both games played today. In G1, he took Tyrone Taylor's spot in the lineup and went off. 5-5 3 R 2B 3B HR 8 RBI. That is a cycle for those who knocked a few too many back this evening. There were many in supporting roles in this one. Clint Coulter (2-4 BB SB), Jose Pena (1-5 2B), Jose Sermo (2-4 BB SB), Alan Sharkey (2-4 BB), Angel Ortega (1-4 BB) and Dionis Hinojosa (1-3 2 BB) all were pestering the base paths. For those who crave good news, Clint Coulter is hitting .361/.510/.361 over his last 10 games. Maverick Lasker amazingly started both games that were completed today. Juan Francisco technically took this one over when it resumed and he excelled. 4 IP 4 H 0 R 0 BB 3 K 3:4 GO:FO for Juan. Helena 5 Idaho Falls (Royals) 2 Box Score Chris McFarland is one of only 14 PL hitters with at least 50 TB's at this point. He socked a homer tonight in the 1st after Tyrone Taylor boarded with a BB. Alfredo Rodriguez (3-3 3 2B) was seeing things clearly and Yonki Hernandez (2-3) socked a couple of hits as well. 4th round pick Tyler Wagner got the start and he worked his ERA back below 9.00. 8 outs 3 H 1 R 1 ER 1 BB 3 K 1 HR 3:1 GO:FO. Wagner's arsenal reminds me somewhat of Matt Miller's. Brent Suter finished the final 6 innings in fine, fine fashion. 18 outs 6 H 1 R 1 ER 1 BB 6 K 7:1 GO:FO. Michael Reed chucked out a guy at 3B. Game Log Suter retired 14 in a row before the error. But then he picked that guy off. He walked the first guy up in the next inning. Brevard's winning streak halted 07/20/2012 11:00 PM ET By Frank Longobardo / Brevard County Manatees http://www.milb.com/images/2012/07/20/iqhONMJh.jpg Manatees starting pitcher Brandon Williamson allowed two runs in five innings of work, but was saddled with his seventh loss of the season on Friday night. Brevard County had its four-game winning streak snapped as they fell 5-2 to the Palm Beach Cardinals. (Dennis Greenblatt/Hawk-Eye Sports Photography) VIERA, Fla. - The Brevard County Manatees had their current winning streak halted at four games as they were defeated 5-2 by the Palm Beach Cardinals on Friday night at Space Coast Stadium. After allowing at least four earned runs in his last three starts, Brevard starter Brandon Williamson (2-7, 6.71) had a solid outing as he allowed just two runs in five innings of work. He yielded six hits, while walking three and striking out three. Palm Beach did jump on Williamson early in the first as Starlin Rodriguez reached on a one-out double and came home three batters later, on a two-out RBI single off the bat of Alan Ahmady. The other run that Williamson allowed came in the fourth inning on a solo homer from Geoffrey Klein that gave the Cards a 2-0 lead. The Manatees (16-12 second half, 45-51 overall) were having trouble figuring out Palm Beach (14-15, 45-51) starter Kyle Hald, who was making his first start in the Florida State League. Hald fanned eight Manatee hitters and scattered four hits in seven innings. Brevard County was finally able to get on the board against Hald and the Cardinals in the bottom of the sixth. John Dishon doubled to right with one out and would steal third. Shea Vucinich would drive him home with a double of his own as the 'Tees cut the Palm Beach's lead to 2-1. After striking out the Cardinals in order in the sixth, Seth Harvey ran into trouble in the seventh and it started with a lead-off walk to Mike O'Neill. Harvey was able to get Rodriguez to ground into a 5-4-3 double play and looked like he would get out of the inning unscathed. However, Harvey would walk James Ramsey and then hit Chris Edmondson with a pitch. The bases would then be loaded after another walk to Alan Ahmady. Tommy Toledo came in for Harvey and on his second pitch the bases cleared on a triple to the right field corner from Cody Stanley as the Cards took a 5-1 lead. The game remained 5-1 heading into the bottom of the ninth, but the Manatees wouldn't go down without a fight. Vucinich would lead off the inning by reaching on an error by the third baseman Ahmady. Jason Rogers then ripped a single back up the middle to put runners on the corners with no outs and the potential tying run on deck. Brock Kjeldgaard then struck out looking and Cody Hawn hit a flare into shallow center, but the center fielder Ramsey was able to make the play as the 'Tees were down to their final out. Reggie Keen though would extend the game with a RBI single as the tying run stepped to the plate. The tying run at the dish was Joey Paciorek, but he was unable to extend the rally for Brevard as he struck out swinging to end the game. On the night, the 'Tees struck out 11 times against Palm Beach pitching. The Manatees will look to get back on track beginning at 6:35 p.m. on Saturday night in the third game of their four-game series with the Cardinals. Taylor Jungmann (7-5, 3.59) will take the mound for Brevard as he looks to continue his hot second half. The 12th overall pick of the 2011 draft is 2-1 with a 2.74 ERA in four starts so far in the second half of the season. Palm Beach will counter with Scott Schneider (1-1, 4.28). Box Score Check out opposing pitcher Kyle Hald's mug. I truly wish he was on our side. The stats back up the face. http://www.milb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_606994.jpg Kyle Hald The BC hitters could not figure out Hald. 6 hits and no walks for the Manatees. The offensive slumber wasted Brandon Williamson's best effort since June 22nd. 2 ER in 5 IP. The overall line was pretty unattractive. Seth Harvey and Tommy Toledo combined to surrender the big 7th inning, though Toledo's line ended up decent. If you don't follow Tommy on twitter, then you are not someone who has wondered what kind of debauchery him and Axford would get into if they were in the same bullpen. Cardinals 2012 1st rounder James Ramsey went 1-1 with 4 BB and has an .800+ OPS in the FSL. I feel like punishing the readers tonight. Game Log Harvey got shelled in the 7th, but this was nice. Palm Beach Top of the 6th Pitching Change: Seth Harvey replaces Brandon Williamson. Geoffrey Klein called out on strikes. Nicholas Longmire strikes out swinging. Ronny Gil strikes out swinging.

Idaho Falls (Royals) 4 Helena 3 Box Score Much like Brooks Hall tonight, Leonard Lorenzo pitched great besides the long balls he gave up. 6 IP 7 H 3 R 3 ER 0 BB 4 K 2 HR HBP 8:6 GO:FO for Leonard. Fireballer Damien Magnifico made his relief pitching debut tonight and pitched alright. 1 IP 1 H 1 R 0 BB 2 K 1 WP. This guy has the arm to move incredibly fast up the ladder, he just needs to throw strikes. The Magnifico pick reminds me of the David Goforth pick, but unless something changes, Magnifico is a relief pitcher only. Damien should be lighting up the radar in Appleton in no time. At the plate, Michael Reed (2-4 2B) had a big day. Raul Mondesi Jr., with Adalberto in the field, hit his 2nd homer of the year. I have not seen Raul's name in the box score with an OF assist in awhile. I guess word got out. Opposing starter Sam Selman is on his way to making the PL All-Star team. Great numbers so far from the old-for-his-league hurler. Game Log
