  1. That's what I wondered - if a guy doesn't want to be there, how much effort is he going to put in?
  2. Coupling that with FSU almost beating Notre Dame and Notre Dame almost losing to Toledo and I think UW has a really good chance to beat ND. ND appears to be a bit overrated.
  3. I do. How do I attach it here or send it to you. I tried to attach it but it says the file is too big. To make an image smaller (I believe 250k is the max for the forum), if the image is on your phone try taking a screenshot of it. You can also try emailing it to yourself; you should get the option of emailing the full file or a smaller file size. On a Windows computer, you can launch the Paint app and then resize the image.
  4. Here I was thinking I would come home to a big celebration on BF.net of the Brewers throwing any kind of no hitter (*officially) for the first time in 34 years. If combined no-hitters aren't anything special, how come the Brewers hadn't had one in the history of the franchise?
  5. Coan for the 18-yard TD. Drives the length of the field in less than a minute.
  6. Coan with a 34-yard pass, now down to the Toledo 35. Now a holding penalty on Toledo, ND down to the 25.
  7. Touchdown Toledo!!! Up 5 with 1:38 left.
  8. Toledo inside the ND 30 with 1:38 left
  9. Holy Toledo! Down by two with the ball at midfield with 3 minutes left vs Notre Dame. Does Notre Dame go down too?
  10. And he lost the first two and backed into the 3rd with 5 losses (only because Ohio State was ineligible, and bailed before it) with game plans and play calling that, IMO, were far worse than the game plan for last Saturday. At least, for the TCU game. The TCU loss was far worse than the loss last Saturday.
  11. You want the next Bielema or Anderson? Hell, Alvarez didn't have a winning record every year after '93. Had a losing record twice.
  12. C'mon. Anybody but Sheffield. That's grounds for a one-week ban.
  13. What's holding me back is the lack of obvious pitching prospects below AAA. I know that the Brewers believe in their pitching lab and development, but besides Kelly (and legit concerns about recovery from TOS surgery) and a couple of 2021 draft picks (no track record yet), there really isn't anything except a couple of high risk/reward relievers.
  14. Cain swinging at a pitch out of the zone on an 0-2 count. And in other news, grass is green.
  15. Took Houser two starts before he got back to form. If Peralta isn't back to full form tonight I wouldn't panic.
  16. A reliable source has a "semi-informed" belief that Berger was serving a one-game suspension for violating team rules, and PC didin't acknowledge it to protect him. I wonder if they had to adjust the game plan last minute (maybe Berger missed curfiew the night before or something) and had planned on more of Mellusi/Berger splitting carries and Guerendo running/faking jet sweeps from the slot. I seem to recall that when the jet sweep was in it's heyday, it was a RB on the jet sweep (Gordon) with Ball/White in the backfield. Or it was White/Clement in the backfield and Gordon on the jet. Having Guerendo and his speed on the jet sweep would make sense, as opposed to having your #2 WR run it.
  17. Opinion: Penn State's defense is much better than Notre Dame's.
  18. Typically, but they lost a ton of talent from last year. On offense they lost their starting QB, their best WR and another of their top 4 WRs, and their two best RBs transferred to Arizona and UCF and I believe their starting RB got hurt and is going to miss the season. On defense they lost one of the best CBs in the nation, their best DE, their two starting ILBs, and one of their starting safeties. Michigan State is not a good team, and they made them look bad.
  19. Burnes, Woodruff, Peralta, Ashby, Houser... We're living exactly what we dreamed of.
  20. Aaaand got him with a fastball right down the middle. Baseball is funny sometimes. Congrats, Houser!
