  1. I am still interested in the results of the other two players. Braun alluded to them, Monson alluded to them and Dan Patrick a few weeks back said their results were off as well
  2. I dont think he is going to go into a ton of details, but I love how he is calling out certain people without naming names
  3. My only question with espn in the early part of this is that they have held stories in the past (ie the Syracuse one) so why did they run with this one? ESPN since they ran the stories has been filled with speculation
  4. Carroll made a comment that if MLB really did take this to court (he said there was no way they would) that MLB would be forced to give full disclosure of their whole process. That would lead to other issues being brought up which would make it way easier for other players to appeal as well. he made it sound like this is why they wouldn't take it to court
  5. 12 PM Central time. It will be on espn and espn.com. I am sure mlb will have it as well
  6. I really encourage people to listen to the Carroll interview linked above. He expands on his tweets and gives good reason why it was more than just a technicality.
  7. Will Carroll did an interview this morning and what is interesting with Carroll is he had some facts yesterday but took time to write his article (which is supposed to be out today). He is an expert on this stuff and obviously did a fair amount of leg work yesterday. He spells things out pretty well http://audio.weei.com/a/52238582/will-carroll-si-com-on-ryan-braun-s-50-game-suspension-being-overturned.htm?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  8. I have no clue what he says but here is a link of Will Carroll being interviewed this morning http://audio.weei.com/a/52238582/will-carroll-si-com-on-ryan-braun-s-50-game-suspension-being-overturned.htm?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Notes from after I listened Much more than chain of custody. Showed what the chain of custody caused. They were able to replicate results. Proved it was bad at the point it was tested. Much more than 3 times the level of testosterone the first time and they were able to get those same results when the defense team replicated the results Will Carroll did not voice his overall opinion of guilt or innocence. He was surprised when Braun was exonerated This is a unique situation. Guys like Manny wont be able to use the Braun situation to win appeals The lab should not have accepted it because of the delay Carroll did not know if there were others tested. The espn legal expert said there were two other samples if I remember correctly The whole system worked. Shows the appeal process works. It wasnt just that there was a 48 delay it was how the sample was treated over those 48 hours MLB cannot take this to federal court. There is no big next step for MLB Had this not leaked we would have never known. Not a 100% anyone is clean when asked if he was 100% sure Braun was clean We have to accept the results on Ryan Braun because he won his appeal MLB is afraid of losing momentum in testing process. Vehement was a poor choice of words. They made it tougher on Braun to regain his standing and reputation
  9. SportsNation has a poll on what people think about Braun's guilt/innocence. I am almost surprised more people are not just saying he is guilty. http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/poll/conversation/_/id/133911 Currently the numbers are at 36% convinced he used PED 50% not sure if he did 15% sure he did not use PED
  10. I see Olney has a post up on espn insider but I dont have insider. I am wondering what he said.
  11. You can listen to the Mike and Mike segment with ESPN legal expert Lester Munson. http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=7610392
  12. Please refrain from acting like any of us who believe Braun is actually innocent are unable to think logically while your opinion is so much less biased. Since this story broke you have been convinced of Braun being guilty, you called him out for not doing a press conference and you assumed his camp leaked the story. Those are your opinions and some have facts to be based on and some are wild speculation. You stated Braun's team was doing all the spin and called them out for it but now you dont saying anything about the incredible amount of spin from MLB Some of us who think Braun could be not simply cleared are listening to more than talking heads on espn. I noticed you havent quoted Will Carrol who said Braun's team was able to replicate the same results of his test under the scenario of the courier taking the results home. I dont appreciate someone acting like I cannot think logically in a situation or acting like you know how I would have responded in a different situation. There are great reasons to believe Braun is actually innocent beside simply being a Brewer fan but you made up your mind of his guilt right off the bat
  13. If this is true, I wonder how the vote was 2-1 and not 3-0 Once this went public there was no way someone from MLB to vote for Braun
  14. Sportswriter who specializes in covering medical stuff and PED's. He writes for SI.com and used to write for Baseball Prospectus. Bottom line: he knows what he's talking about. When is he going to write an article on this whole situation? Oh wait he is probably being a responsible journalist and gathering facts
  15. Wow. If this is the case it is irresponsible journalism on espn and others account right now. This sheds way more light on the situation and shows why Braun would be innocent. Who is Will Carrol?
  16. People on espn boards are saying Braun just fought that the technicality but the point is how was he actually supposed to argue the test was contaminated? What would that defense look like? He fought what he could and won
  17. Kind of glad I dont have espn at a moment like this. I think it would just anger me as they try to spin this
  18. That's what a couple posters here said as well. I think it was Jeffy and someone else. Except it makes no sense whatsoever. If he didnt leak the news none of this ever makes the news and he is as clean as can be in the public eye. NONE of this would be public knowledge. He has zero to gain by leaking the info. I guess someone from his camp could have mistakenly done it but it is much more likely it came from MLB.
  19. Who was the tweet from? Just some random guy or someone who would actually know something?
