    I must admit to leaving a game early only twice and both were Saturday night games against the Twins so the moral of the story is avoid Twin games at MP on Saturdays. The first was when Ben Hendrickson gave up an insane number of runs without recording an out in the first inning and the 2nd time I stayed long enough to boo Ned for keeping Tavarez in for the 12th last month. I was so sick to my stomach watching that crap I had to leave.

    Even better when they spend what feels like five minutes trying to read the ticket since they have been alive since the Cubs last won the WS and you want to scream "I know where my seat is but thanks!"

    Maybe its because I am a CPA and work with numbers everyday but that seems so obvious to me too. Just match up the numbers on your ticket with the numbers on the section sign, aisle and seat and sit down. And I've only been to a few hockey games in my life but I loved the fact the usher will close the curtain (at least where I went) and didn't let anyone sit down until the action stopped. It only took a game at MP to train my fiance not to get up or sit during the action. Now if I had more free time I could get to the rest of the crowd. And I must confess I love the sausage race and always will root for the Brat and hate anyone trying to start the wave.

    Would the create your own shirt at the ballpark make those if the trade wasn't finalized. I know you cannot order jerseys of guys on another team but do those rules apply to that store as well?

    I haven't followed Brantley closely so can someone help me out with some info on him - is he a defensive liability and where does he project in the lineup? Thanks.

    I think that with all the unpredicability it is more the reason to go for it this year. Whose to say we have multiple injuries next year and if we do lose Sheets this may be the one chance. It's so easy to go first to last these days, that 2008 is the year to go for broke. WS or bust and my money is on WS.

    I will admit I do like Bush more but do we really want to rely on McClung the rest of the way. I have been presently surprised by what McClung has done as a starter but I keep telling myself it's Seth McClung and it can't last forever. Or is Maddax that much of a genius?

    I just don't understabd posts/overreactions like this. Why does this one trade need to dictate the future at every position? Up until last year, Ryan Braun was the 3B of the future. Mike Cameron certainly wasn't the CF of the future. These things change. Trades happen. FA sign. Etc. Etc. Etc. It's only fun being a fan if you can project the 25 man roster for the next 10-15 years as was evident by the concern earlier this week on who would replace Lawrie in 2019.

    Even if it is Green (and at the rate we are going it won't be any of the names already talked about in length) I still like this trade since it doesn't include another top prospect (Lucroy, Escobar, Brantley, Jeffress) as has been talked about all weekend. I would hate losing Green more than LaPorta but getting CC will be huge for the Brewers.

    Getting CC is huge but this needs to be over so I can move on in my life. I hope it's not Lucroy as catching is just too valuable to give up. Getting married Oct. 4. I hope to be spending some time on the honeymoon watching playoff baseball.

    I assume Frederickson is the corresponding move. Nick Tyson was already sent down to Helena as noted above to make room for Frederickson.

    Didn't realize Ben Gordon was a 2 sport star http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Hopefully is still Ben Howard making the start since Gordon has a better layup than fastball.

    Remember, he's still only 21. Last year he made 16 errors in 60 games for Brevard but settled down and made just 5 in 61 for Huntsville. 21 errors in a season for a 20 year old minor league SS is really pretty good. His gold glove potential is based more on his range which is off the charts. For anyone that has seen Escobar play, does he get more errors because he gets to more balls with his range or is he booting routine plays and making throwing errors?

    I didn't get to see the game but why wasn't I shocked to see Dave Bush give up 3 runs in the 6th. April 3 - 5.1 IP, 6 runs, 2 in the 6th inning April 9 - 5.1 IP, 5 runs, 3 in the 6th inning April 15 - 6 IP, 3 runs, 0 in the 6th inning April 23 - 6 IP, 4 runs, 1 in the 6th inning May 7 - 6 IP, 6 runs, 3 in the 6th inning total for the year 24 runs 9 in the 6th inning
