  1. Definitely an error on Arcia right? That error could really cost us...
  2. I'm predicting the Schoop either strikes out 4 times today, or hits four homeruns, or something in between. That said, a 4-2 Brewers win would be nice on this beautiful Wisconsin afternoon.
  3. What was the game where the pitcher actually threw a perfect game, but the ump massively blotched the play and called someone safe (for a hit) that was clearly out?
  4. Absolutely it can. Think of Tennis and the ability to "acquire" a new #1 for your team. While baseball isn't a game of 1:1... it allows your best player previously to now take on the #2, your #2 to take on the #3 role, etc... Maybe a better example, think of Big Ten Bowl Season. If you're the Big Ten Champion and playing the SEC runner-up, and everyone below you is also playing a team one-rung lower, you're going to have more chance of success being consistently favored.
  5. CC will find a way to get Sogard called up before tomorrow's game so he can bat leadoff and find a way to get Kratz, Pina, Sogard, and Perez all in the lineup. If Shaw can play 2B, Kratz can play LF right?
  6. What an idiotic play by Arcia. Yelich and Cain red hot tonight... so we run into an out at 3rd when already in scoring position. sheesh
  7. Feels like the trade has given us a shot in the arm. Really really wish we had acquired Machado, especially with what we've already given up now for Soria and Moustakas, but there is still time to get another impact player. I think this team just got tired and lost some confidence, but after coming behind to win the first two games of the series and now building a lead tonight, I'm seeing some of that swagger coming back. For the love of god though CC, please do not play the "surrender" lineup tomorrow. I do not want to see Perez anywhere on the field, and if Aggie needs a day off, get Braun in there. Agreed with all those that said this team is fun to watch tonight.
  8. Jim Duquette on MLB has this proposal: Phillips, Ortiz, and Dubon for Machado... ironically, he says it would be the Brewers that might turn down sending 3 top 10 prospects for a rental. I know I'd do that proposal in a heartbeat.
  9. we must lead the league in 2nd/3rd no outs and no runs... I'd say our win probability just dropped off a cliff...
  10. Gonna be tuff w/ out suter 2morro. I think counsell should just go 2 Hader, everytime he feels a little tweaked or nervous or has sum anxiety. Have we ever? Lost a game Hader has appeared in? Yes, a couple. Didn't lose any in his first 18 appearances I believe, but we had a couple innings in late June/early July where the wheels fell off. Without looking it up, I think we've lost 2-3 games that Hader has appeared in.
  11. HUGE WIN! After the 1st inning, i thought for sure this would be a L. 2.5 games up on scrubs!
