  1. braun kicks a semi difficult play at 3rd... -----------------
  2. If they lose this game, not only does it give them yet another bitter loss to swallow, it has come at the price of totally abusing your bullpen right before a 3 day, 4 game series. bad and really bad ----------------
  3. When Coco blows a save, he likes to do it when options after him are severely limited. Please, let's get 3 outs before this 1/2 inning's over ---------------
  4. Can someone please fed ex linebrink to the mound? ----------------
  5. Coutlangus was pinch hit for ----------------
  6. Weathers can't be able to pitch today, and cincy's already used quite a few relievers. I would like to see a whole lot of Mike Stanton, right now, please ------------------
  7. I assume that was intentional? If you're talking about weeks getting HBP, it was not intentional - it was actually a breaking ball in the dirt that caught his toe. So who put the ghost of Estrada in Braun's body the last 2 AB's? ------------------
  8. 3 out of 4 times T-Bow pitches, he's good Turnbow. Let's hope this is one of the 3!! It's as simple as Yost playing the percentageshttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif ------------------
  9. Dang, Mr. Encarnacion, you can stop playing like Brooks Robinson anytime. ----------------
  10. cripes, graffanino has hit two frozen ropes out to center field this game it'd be nice to get a big 2 out hit here -------------------
  11. Atta boy, Corey! great baserunning to get to 2nd there, too ----------------
  12. since he's come off the dl, it's great to see Hall going to RF so much... Do you job, mench! move him over to third ------------------
  13. I am absolutely terrified that any hitter who hits a popup that ends up less than 30 feet from home plate will end up with a double against the brewers ------------------
  14. can we trade for griffey before this AB is over? ----------------
  15. This team has a knack for not getting over the hump 3-4-5 for cincy this inning - it'd be nice to keep them at 4 runs right here. -----------------
  16. let's go Braun, stay within yourself! -------------------
  17. man, if you're going to let counsell swing away there, why not use one of the other LH hitters on the bench...maybe Jenkins there? that 1 pitch AB by Counsel kills this inning. Prove me wrong, top of the order! ----------------
  18. Four runs isn't going to win this game let's knock this guy around - i don't think weathers will be making any 6 out saves today edit: whoops, already in the pen ------------------
  19. pitch count isn't that important when the Reds' lineup is turning over for a 4th time. Bush was done...Shouse was just nasty to Hatterberg there. The way this game's going, it'd be key to get out of this inning without having Griffey come up ----------------
  20. # of hard hit balls off Brewer bats that haven't resulted in hits starting to get too high for comfort. Difference in the game so far is Bush walking himself into trouble last inning -----------------
  21. have you ever played softball at all? have you ever played the infield during softball at all. When a guy that is pitching groove ball to a guy that can hit a ball 400ft. The fields are all torn up, you get bad hops all the time.. i haven't agreed with one thing you have ever said, please don't talk to me anymore. or respond to anything i write. I think you should tell your softball/baseball/tennis/triathalon coaches that you could use a day off...you seem to be slightly fatigued, and pressing in your posts. ---------------------
  22. shaping up to be one of those Youman type games...this guys looks brutal ----------------
  23. giving up a solo homerun in GABP isn't the end of the world. in fact, someone should tell the Brewers' offense that they've scored a grand total of 8 runs in 29 innings so far in GABP, against one of the worst pitching staffs in all of baseball. time for the hitters to start looking like hitters, please... ------------------
  24. if i was playing baseball I would easily be willing to play 29 days in a row, working at my job now, not so much. If you've ever played 4-5 nine inning games of even semicompetitive baseball in a row in late July, early August, you'd realize how much of a strain it is both physically and mentally. 29 in a row is alot more than 5, too. Baseball is a funny sport to gauge how much energy a player has at any given time. Sure, anyone with a pulse could get sent out to play 29 straight games, but expecting them to perform well (especially at a MLB level) during that stretch is asking too much of 99.5% of major leaguers out there. The games themselves look to be relatively easy to get through - sometimes people don't realize how much work and practice goes on before and after games to prepare for the next game and maintain a player's level of strength and health. --------------------
