  1. Couple of things: During one dollar hot dog days they occassionaly run out of onions and once in a great while ketchup. Who needs ketchup when there is Secret Stadium Sauce? Also: Is Tom Gorzelanny shouting at the ground in that picture?
  2. PM me if interested. I've just done that. Thanks.
  3. Y'arr, I curse the scurvy Pirates to the depths of their very souls.
  4. We're due to go to the Pirates (Thursday) and Nationals (next Wednesday) series, so I can get you a Nats program then, BHF. If anyone else has an extra from the Houston or STL series, please send me a PM. Thanks.
  5. The HR contestant picked Craig Counsell? Might as well have picked Cappy. After Brian Shouse was included in the Walk-Off Wednesdays promotion (you buy his jersey tee, and if he hits a walkoff homer, you win a signed bat), I am strongly considering sending in a postcard to the home run inning with Brian Shouse as my pick. I'm sure Uecker would say something funny about it.
  6. The '06 Spanish schedule was at guest relations last summer, but not until mid-season.
  7. Somebody forgot to give Jenkins the memo that this isn't September I'll have you know that when I flipped up my Brewers wall calendar to May this morning, none other than...Geoff Jenkins graced the page.
  8. Good goobedy goo Batman, it is fun to root for a winning Brew Crew. AJ Love, I hope you will make this a signature file for your posts.
  9. E Pujols. The beautiful dream continues. (On the field. I know it's more like a nightmare for the Cardinals off the field.)
  10. JJ's making me smile. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif As are the Brewers in general. It's like a beautiful dream.
  11. Run support? With Ben on the mound? That's crazy nice. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  12. 245 folks on the forum on a Monday night in April. That's cool.
  13. Hawing... you are now officially one of the guys! I took the picture for my bf.net fellas. I just had to wait for the best night to post it. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  14. It was a sweater. A clingy one at that.
  15. In honor of Erin Andrews' appearance at Miller Park tonight, here is a picture I took of Erin at the Kohl Center in March. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g270/hawing/Non-Brewers/100_0650-1.jpg I like how everyone's looking at her. Just about everyone.
  16. if my memory serves me correctly the Cards were playing the Cubs on Saturday when Darryl Kile died and the game was not postponed at all. I thought they postponed that Saturday game. The start was delayed and Wrigley was already full of fans who were wondering why, when Joe Girardi came out and announced what happened. I believe we were on our way to a game at MP when the news came over the radio. And it wasn't too long after that when the Brewers and Cardinals played. (Pause to look at 2002 magnet schedule which is on the side of my metal desk - yea, verily, I am a nerd when it comes to little Brewer details) Yeah. Kile died on June 22 and the Cards hosted the Brewers June 25-27. Edit: They did postpone the Saturday game, but not the Sunday game (which Kile was supposed to have started): Link
  17. If FSN does some more Brewers Classics, this really should be there.
  18. Might sound selfish, but I wish we weren't the team after the fact. Indeed. Along with my sympathy for STL and the Hancocks, I am feeling some regret that the Brewers finally have an ESPN appearance, yet will be an afterthought no matter how the game goes (blowout win, or Soup no-hitter, or each Brewer in the lineup hits for the cycle and turns an unassisted triple play). This is merely a bummer and pales in comparison to the larger loss, but it's still a bummer. I suppose the (very slight) silver lining is if the Brewers really tank, they'll still be an afterthought.
  19. Ive seen Looper and now I have seen Wells. I'll update all the graphics for Wells, because I'm sure thats who it is. The Cardinals' website now says Wells, so an update seems prudent. As a zillion other posters have already said before, nice work, Woogie.
  20. Claudio Vargas, in my opinion, is the king of unnecessary drama. But I'm glad the Brewers prevailed.
  21. Is this an uncommon level of secrecy?
  22. I hope we see Sheets at 3rd! .333 BA! Nice!! Yeah, it's certainly not every day when the splits (even in a small sample) suggest that Ben rakes.
  23. Wasn't Spurling one of the "wheel of pitchers" from last year?
  24. This game has an Elmer Dessens appearence written all over it. Ask and ye shall receive. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/indifferent.gif
  25. For Ann, every team is "your" team.
