  1. Well, lucky for us, Mitch Trubisky remembered he is Mitch Trubisky. Just in the nick of time.
  2. This feels like McCarthy's late game playcalling.
  3. Because if I said Moose has more career runs scored, more career, HR's, 2B's and RBI's, I would get told those numbers don't matter. Remove the anlytical numbers from it, then how do they matchup?? You want to compare guys by counting stats, and say that analytical rate stats is cherry picking? You're just arguing to argue now, right?
  4. Few people do. But if you get to January healthy, anything can happen. Yup. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200802030nwe.htm
  5. That "pass block" by Jones was interesting.....
  6. I didn't mind the movie............ I hated the way they changed the ending of the movie. It changed the meaning of everything that happened. I want to sign up for HBO just to watch this series though. I've heard and read fantastic things about it.
  7. How is that cherry picking? Those are the stats of the two mentioned guys for their career and the last 3 years. That's not cherry picking at all.
  8. That wasn't getting overturned.
  9. I don't think too many people disagree that this is a pretty flawed Packers team. Nobody in the NFC is without flaws. I think the 9er's are probably the NFC favorites. I think what most people are saying is that they're going to watch the games and let them play out, even if the Packers are underdogs. You've already decided that the cap is 2nd round. Cool. That probably makes watching the games not that fun.
  10. That's honestly disappointing. Was looking forward to seeing that kid play.
  11. The same Saints that not too long ago got smoked by the Falcons. They have plenty of flaws themselves. Seahawks needed OT to beat the Buccaneers. They got smoked by the Rams. meh. Everyone has flaws.
  12. "Is" sounds pretty confident. You are taking them over the 49ers or Saints in the divisional round? If it's at Lambeau in this type of weather, I'd definitely at least consider it.
  13. Sweet shoulder tackling by the Bears there..... wow
  14. King literally just fell down from a light tap on the shoulder.
  15. Certainly looked like running out the clock was more of a priority than moving the ball and getting points. Doesn't make a lot of sense because the Bears haven't exactly shown the ability to move the ball much today. You're at the opposing 36 yard line with the clock stopped, 2 timeouts, and over a minute left in the half. How in the world are you not sitting there thinking touchdown? I don't know. They're running belly dives and running 40 seconds off the clock.... so I'd say a TD wasn't a high priority.
  16. I think Lazard could continue to develop into something. He's got some physical tools. I think you're right that Rodgers relies way too much on Adams. His target splits show that when Adams was out he does a great job of spreading it around. I think Rodgers is also pretty stubborn with learning to work with new/younger WR, sometimes to a fault.

  18. I remember his first couple years Davante Adams was a drop machine and not a great route runner, but dude was obviously physically gifted. I'm not comparing MVS to Adams directly, but he's obviously physically gifted. This receiving corps aside from Adams is crap. I still kinda hold out hope that MVS takes his physical tools and turns into something more than what he is, because we really need some help on offense.
  19. Garbage clock management and a penalty that kills the clock. Awesome.
  20. Yes. The halo rule was removed in 2003.
  21. I think IIRC they did away with the 2 yard halo. They just can't touch the returner before he touches the ball. I may be wrong on that.
  22. Wow, Martinez coming in and making a stop in the backfield...
  23. At 24-3 (and I'm not one of those "what if" guys, but this is just fun-with-stats...... the Bucks lost to the Jazz on a last second inbounds catch and shoot, and lost to the Heat on a furious 4th quarter comeback and OT, so they are like..... literally the equivalent of two shots away from being 26-1 right now, more or less. Their only "close" victory was the 121-119 win over OKC. I'm pretty excited to see what happens when they start running into the better teams with the Mavs and Lakers coming up, but they already ran roughshod over the Clips and they beat Utah in the rematch. Coming into the season I could have seen a regression to 53 - 57 wins, just because winning 60 games back to back is dang tough, but it's pretty hard to not see 60+ wins at this point.
