According to Bill, every left handed hitter ever likes to hit pitches that are low and inside. I swear to god he mentions this every. Single. Time a left handed hitter gets a hit on a pitch low and inside.

When everyone is swinging at the first pitch, it's pretty obvious he doesn't have anything. Get him the heck outta there.

Hunter Pence must be exhausted at the end of every game.

I like Parra alright, but he's not the type of guy that I want to be sliding other guys around for to make "every day player" room for him. He's a career .720 OPS guy, and he's only had one season where his D-War was over 1.0 Yes, he just made a great catch, but there's nothing about him that screams "gotta play him every day".

It does work (obviously, we are 2nd in the NL in runs scored), but I think it's frustrating for people to watch them swing and miss at so many bad pitches.

Gone to a few Cardinals message boards. It's funny.....they really think the only reason people "hate" the Cardinals is because they're "good". It doesn't have anything to do with the "Cardinal Way" crap.......the "We play the Right Way" culture that Tony LaRussa has instilled in the team. No, it couldn't possibly have anything to do with that stuff at all. -
You can look at it that way, or you can look at it as "you had a 2 run lead in the 7th inning, and still lost the game" Either way you slice it, the win expectancy in the beginning of Matt Holliday's at bat was tilted heavily in the Brewers favor.

A lot of people posted the "if Garza isn't injured, there will be some seriously explaining to do" type of posts. At least we got our answer, but it doesn't mean this loss is any less frustrating. The bullpen still should have done their job.. and the offense could have been better than 2 runs. Well, there is that. John Lackey is not an ace. He's a good (not amazing) pitcher. (he's also a piece of crap, lol) I didn't like the matchups in the 7th. Duke to face the power hitting righty (Holliday), and the the righty (Jeffress), facing the lefties Pierzinsakdflkdy and Tavares. You know your bullpen has turned into a steaming pile of crap when your'e actually hoping he'll bring in Kintzler to get a groundball.

To be fair, I only said "Roenicke's stupid for this if Garza is not injured" As I have stated just a few posts ago, I'd rather Garza not be injured. We already know Roenicke is not the brightest crayon in the box/sharpest knife in the drawer/a few clowns short of a circus. What we don't need is for Garza to be out for any length of time.
