  2. I'd like to give Hermida a shot, but then we have nobody who can really cover CF (adequately)
  3. How is it that that skinny little punk can hit homeruns (4 now) against us, but is basically a slap hitter against everyone else?
  4. why not with a 5-0 lead Because it was 4" off the plate, and Braun has been very successful hitting the other way.
  5. Brauny getting wide-eyed and trying to pull that garbage......
  6. Heisey probably wants to crawl into a hole and die about now.
  7. that looked a touch low, but I'm not going to tell blue he was wrong. His strike zone has been a touch inconsistent tonight though.
  8. As it should, this isn't video games, bad throws do happen in real life. The Brewers are in the middle of the NL for baserunning runs Being 'good' and being lucky are two separate things. They got very lucky that both of those were bad throws.
  9. The funny thing is....this will play into the "Brewers are a good baserunning team" statistics now.
  10. Peralta and Gomez tagged from 2nd and 1st, respectively, on a fly ball to left-center. Peralta would've been out by a mile if the throw was decent. Both safe, obviously. Braun's liner probably should have been caught in left, but it was one of those types of hits that froze the left fielder and by the time he figured it out, it was over his head. Don't forget Jean Segura hitting a "triple" in which he was out by 20 feet at 3rd base, but the throw hit him, and rolled into the dugout, so he was awarded home on the throwing error.
  11. That thing about getting some lucky breaks? Yeah.....that's happening tonight.
  12. His fastball is pretty straight, it doesn't have much movement on it at all. Once you get to the bigs, it doesn't matter if you can throw it 96, if it's straight as a string, bit league hitters are going to hit it.
  13. That's a start.... Jean was out by a mile at third if that throw wouldn't have hit him.
  14. I don't know who did Latos' ink, but he should really get some money back for some of that garbage.
  15. Morneau is being put on the DL by the Rocks with a neck strain.
  16. Gotta love RRR. The left fielder bats 6th, and Schafer is playing LF, so Schafer bats 6th.
  17. Colby Lewis just looks like a great big douche in all of this. Even Ranger fans are saying he sounds like a whining baby here. If you're going to play the shift, then people are going to bunt against you.
  18. THere's that too. Wooten shouldn't be pitching in the 9th......but Davis flubbed that play big time. He hustled over, got the ball....then double pumped AND made a terrible throw.
