  1. When you have to get through 4 innings and your bullpen has one guy you can't use, and Rob Wooten, and 9 lefties, this is what happens.
  2. 2nd and 3rd, nobody out, and they score nothing. I'm sure that won't come back to haunt us in Colorado.
  3. I have listened to a few innings over the weekend. It's painful. I don't know who's idea Augie on the radio was, but it was a bad idea.
  4. Some interesting base running, but nice job by Lucroy getting hung up long enough to let Braun score.
  5. Watching CHris Dickerson hit is 100% nerve wracking. Between each pitch, he will pull up his belt, tap his helmet once, walk around the batters box do two practice swings, unzip and zip each of his gloves, tug on each side of his jersey, and tap each side of the plate, and finally stand in. Maybe I'm neurotic for having noticed it, but it's just irritating to watch guys like him go through these ridiculous in between pitch rituals. (And yes, I know Braun does it too)
  6. Sick that Lucroy got the error. That wasn't a great throw, it definitely had a tail on it, but it wasn't a terrible throw. Error certainly should have been on Segura. If there's anything we've learned in this series, it's that Colorado's scorer really doesn't know what's going on with the rules
  7. I can't wait to get out of this park. Defense just isn't part of the game here apparently.
  8. Dunn over Overbay+Reynolds would be marginal. And I can't imagine paying 7.5 mil (half a year of Dunn) for a platoon guy, especially when you consider that historically, Reynolds doesn't have big platoon splits. If anything, this year, Reynolds numbers vs lefties (in a small sample) are worse than his numbers vs. righties.
  9. Ramirez' OPS over .800 now, giving us 6 regulars who are OPS'ing over .800.
  10. I can only imagine what that sounded like. Excuse my whilst I 'lol'. I was just thinking, for all the complaining we've done about boneheaded plays this year (and often times, rightfully so) from our boys in blue and gold, I can't even imagine what a Rocks message board must look like after a play like that.
  11. Remember game started a little later with the rain delay. Ask and you shall receive: http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/Average-time-of-9inning-games-at-ballparks-50977923 Miller Park equal with Coors Field, but yes, at the top of the list. Unsurprised, I am.
  12. Is there a site or way to look up average time of game per stadium? Because we're heading towards another 4-ish hour game.
  13. The side effect of all this is that I'm not upset with Rickie anymore (currently)
  14. THAT WAS AWESOME. I've seen it all now. I have seriously. Seen. It. All.
  15. I guess nobody has to worry about the 'young guy we've never seen before' shutting us down today.
  16. How was Gomez's hit a single and an error? The guy made a play on the ball, and missed it. It has to be either a hit, or an error. It can't be both.
