    I know this doesn't have anything to do with our game today but... My cousin is a AAA umpire. He's been called up several times this year. Well he's behind the plate for the Twins-Sox game today. Kinda' cool. He has done the entire series, including that 20-14 game. I wish my mom or my aunt would have told me before, I'd be there right now.

    I'm assuming not, but does anyone know if the game is in HD tonight? I happen to have a "day off" tonight from watching my baby girl so I was thinking of going somewhere that has HD. EDIT: Nevermind. I didn't know the schedule on Brewers.com listed the HD games this year.     Didn't realize that. Might be an interesting project to see how that pans out. On another note, well this isn't the way I was hoping the week would go. And it turns out to be a big week for a terrible reason. Here's to a pummeling of the Nats tonight.

    Well Gwynn is back. I hope for the team's sake he plays absolutely out of his mind. I hope he sees this as his real chance and makes the best of it. Good luck Tony!! About the lineup. I hope either Gwynn or Weeks or someone, can step forward and take over the leadoff position. If they could at least keep a .355 OBP, I think that would be good enough. I know that's not great, but I think it would be serviceable. Not that I don't like Hart there, I do. But I'd rather see a 3-4-5 combo of Hart-Fielder-Braun, over Braun-Fielder-Estrada. (I like Hart over Braun batting before Prince because of his speed.)

    I decided to call, and try to talk to someone in programming. Let's see if I can get past the "first line of defense". EDIT: Nope couldn't get past the first person. Same old response. You live in this zip code so you get this channel. She said to try mailing a letter to the general customer service address. I'm very close to going back to cable and just buying a TiVo box. TiVo is really the only thing DirecTV has going for it IMO.

    By the way... I have continued to email them daily. I think they have noticed this because they have stopped emailing me back.
