  1. I think his wrist is hurting him more than we know. But we won't know, I don't think the coaches will even fully know. Weeks is the type of player who will play thru an injury and not say anything about it. You're not going to hear him complain or make excuses about injuries. And the doctor did say it usually takes a full year to heal completely. If Weeks is still batting .230/.240 next year at this time, then I think we start asking if this is all he's ever going to be.
  2. Anyone else think this is a big week for our Crew? Two more series before the break. They've got their perennial nemesis in the Pirates then the league doormat in the Nats. And the Cubs just happen to play the same two teams this week. I think they need to at least match the Cubs win-for-win this week. I'm not saying if the Cubs gain a game or two, the season is over or anything stupid like that. I just think...keeping pace with those guys to the south this week, keeping that lead up over 6 games at the break, would help our confidence (both the teams and ours) and demoralize them (both the team and fans) a bit. EDIT: Removed excessive punctuation from subject line -- BtA
  3. Dominate again today boys. Put these sCrubs back in their place and shut them up for awhile.
  4. It was Manning. Tiny Felder scored the winning run. "Manning stroked a single to center to score Felder and give the Brewers a tense 1-0 victory." www2.jsonline.com/sports/...061199.asp
  5. No, I'm pretty sure Manning was the one rounding third coming in to score the winning run. Molitor was waving at him to go back to third. I don't remember who hit the ball.
  6. That's three. Nice job T-bow. Sure would like to see one or two more runs up there on board thou.
  7. Let's hope for the the dominate T-Bow today.
  8. Com'on now boys put a couple more up on the board here, it's getting too close for comfort now.
  9. How about another one of those one pitch DP balls.
  10. You know it's your day, when Mench walks on 4 pitches.
  11. Tough break. Still only 5-2 thou. Get out of this now with no further damage.
  12. 2nd and 3rd, no out. All right kid, let's get out of this.
  13. 1-2-3 for Yo-Yo. Don't let up on offense now. We all know what kind of wild games they've had in the past with the sCrubs.
  14. Bust this open right now. Com'on Johnny!!!
  15. Let's go Corey, start us off here.
  16. It's also a lot easier to set a lineup and stick with it, when all your players are hitting and producing. Now, let's go CREW!!!
  17. I've decided to go with this email now. Fell free to use it or parts of it, and give me an suggestions of what to add or change, if you like.
  18. For some reason I just have this feeling the Crew is going to dominate today. A 7-2, 6-3 type of win today. Yovani continues to pitch well. Prince goes deep at least once. I just have a very good feeling about this series. GO CREW!!!
  19. After struggling with them today I've realized my mistake in the original email. So yeah, I'm going to revise my email that I send tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day...
  20. I already received a response from my email this morning.
