  1. To DirecTV: Ummm, yeah, no your information is not helpful. You keep missing the point. We understand what your current policy is with the progamming on these two channels. What you don't understand is that we are missing other programs that are designated for Wisconsin because for some reason you think we would rather see these same types of programs about Minnesota teams. Case in point. The Brewers Game Track last night, we did not get because of your stupid policy. Instead we got a blacked out Twins-Yankees game. I wrote them yet another angry email last night about this.
  2. OK. I wasn't trying to be mean or anything on my side either.
  3. I have to admit I don't know anything about him. The website says he's a thirdbaseman. Has he ever played the outfield? Even if he has I have to assume his defense is not nearly as good as Gwynn's. Maybe they want Gwynn's defense up here and anything he does at the plate is just gravy.
  4. Here's to hoping Gwynn plays absolutely out of his mind 'till Hall comes back. Who's to say that can't happen? Guys get hot and cold all the time, right? Maybe Gwynn sees this as his shot and gets the job done. Either his shot with the Brewers or as auditioning for another team. It could happen just as much as some people say he isn't starter material and is not going to get the job done. Maybe there's some way we can "mind meld" him to be his Dad when he was in his prime. Yeah, I'm a Trek fan. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  5. Yeah, I think we get it. You're not a Yost supporter. You think he tinkers with the lineup way too much. You think he's a idiot and would consider a lineup like this. Point taken...
  6. In my previous lineup, I really hope Gwynn or Weeks can take over that leadoff spot. I like the "protection" for Fielder with Braun and Hart hitting around him. If I was the opposition, Estrada wouldn't scare me as much as a Braun or Hart would. Plus with Estrada's "speed" it's a DP waiting to happen. In reality I think we will see something like this... Hart Hardy Braun Fielder Estrada Jenkins/Mench Weeks Gwynn/Gross
  7. Well since it seems Hall may be out awhile, time for a new one... This is with a .375 OBP Gwynn and Weeks. Do I think Gwynn can do that playing every day? Ummm, probably not. But the title of this thread is what's your "ideal" lineup. So anyway... Gwynn/Weeks Hardy Hart Fielder Braun Estrada Jenkins/Mench Weeks/Gwynn
  8. And I just spent $350 today getting tickets for 4 games. Well to be fair, my Dad and Uncle are paying for them, they are coming over from the other side of the state. Please throw me in there. Thanks for the chance.
  9. I agree with Crewin06 on all counts. Anyone who gives this team anything less than an A- for offense needs to go check the overall team stats.
  10. I think some people are jumping the gun a little here. They won't have to make a roster move with only 3 more games 'till the break. That is if the initial diagnosis is correct and it's just a sprain.
  11. It's the Pirates. For whatever reason they have the Crew's number in Pittsburgh. What can you do? I don't think it's the end of the world. From reading a couple of posts, seems that some people do. There's still a lot of baseball to play and the Crew still has a better overall team than those guys to the south. Keep the faith people, our team will bounce back. EDIT: Bob just said it. 19-40 at PNC Park.
  12. Let's go boys!! There's still time for a 4 or 5 run inning here to steal this game away.
  13. I'm going to stop posting during games. I seem to bring bad luck.
  14. Let's go Sheeter!! Need an All-Star performance from you, because I have the feeling runs are going to be hard to come by today.
  15. For those who can't get AM620... Still raining. But Bob said they are going to do everything they can to get this game in today. No time yet when the game will start. They're going to get another update from Pittsburgh at 1:30.
  16. I guess it's still raining pretty good over there. I highly doubt this game starts at 1pm. www.weather.com/weather/m...ayer=radar
  17. Bob just said they will come back at 1pm central time. That's at least an hour and a half rain delay.
  18. Cappy at 84 pitches. Yovani coming in. Looks like a good time to leave work and head on home. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  19. Jenks is the first one to talk on that video. I, for one, hope he retires only playing for one team in his entire career.
  20. Well I said after the San Fran series they would have 52 at the break. So I'm going to say they hit 56 wins definitely in the Arizona series. How about July 17th.
  21. Might be one of those "priceless" (Visa?) commercials. Course myself, I wouldn't give you two cents for it, so...
  22. Speaking of pictures... Does anyone know where I can find a picture of Yovani's first start? One when Yost came to get him and you had Braun, Hardy, Weeks, and Prince all standing at the mound. I can't seem to find one online, or maybe I just don't know where to look. Thanks in advance for the help.
  23. There is no way in heck, they let Bonds hit that HR anywhere but in San Fran. Especially since it doesn't look like they have a chance at the playoffs. If they did, I may think differently.
  24. Normally I think this way as well. But since they got a little lucky on Friday and took the series from our Crew, they have a little momentum going here. And with the break coming up, Cappy coming off the DL and starting tonight, since they each play the same teams this week... Just might be a bit bigger than normal, might be one of those "turning points" in the season. If the sCrubs go 6-1 to the break and so do our boys, I would think you would have to have a feeling on the sCrubs side of "what do we need to do to catch those guys".
