  1. If you only got to keep 3 Brewers First Year Players from this year, who would they be? Looking for long-term production. So, Escobar and Axford would not count in this discussion as they made their debut in 2009. Jeffress, Rodgers, anyone who made their debut in 2010, do count. Rank them in the top 5. 1. Lucroy 2. Cain 3. Jeffress 4. Rogers 5. Kintzler6. ??? Any others I'm missing...
  2. "Wait, I know you said "don't know why", but you have a daughter and no camera?!?" LOL!! I know. I feel bad. But her mother has a camera. Takes a lot of pictures, and I just borrow hers when something important is going on that I'd like to take pictures for.
  3. Exactly. Since I don't have a real camera (don't know why) the only thing I use mine for is to take video of my daughter for the grandparents. Otherwise it's never on.
  4. "Chatroulette" is the other one I was trying to think of. That one might be the worst one of all for children With this you use your webcam to talk live with someone. It randomly hooks you up with someone. Well with a live webcam, you can imagine what can, and usually does, pop on on the screen.
  5. There are more than just this one. I guess there are at least 5 or 6 other ones. With these virtual ones, you can create a character, an "avatar", and do just about anything. From simple conversation to simulated hard-core sex.
  6. IMVU: Instant Messenger Virtual Universe. IMVU is a program you have to download and install. If you are a novice computer user all you would have to do is search for "IMVU". I've seen ads for it everywhere, finally decided to check it out. It's not bad, "met" a few good people on there. One in Israel, would really like to find out what his life is like over there. Another in England, another who lives in Cleveland now but went to UW-Madison, etc... So it's not all bad. Without going into much detail I was searching around checking out all the different rooms they have. Found one with a 49-year old man, with four 13 to16 year old kids, three of them girls. Decided to check it out. I was hoping maybe it was just a father away on business using it to "see" his kids. That is not what I found. What I found and what the pervert said to me when I entered the room, made me sick. I am trying to tell myself that it was a trap room designed to catch preditors, and those "kids" were actually cops. Please if you have children under 18, as I do, or hell of any age really, even your parents who are probably not the most computer literate, remind them not to give out any personal information over the internet. Ask them if they have heard of these various chat sites, are on them, and make sure you can verify the real identity of who they are talking to. I know there are so many things today that we cannot keep them from being exposed to. This however is not one of them. Sorry if this sounds "preachy" or a "yes, we all know that" type of thing. I was just very disturbed over the entire experience. If my one email here can help protect even one child from those wastes of human life, it will have done some good. Thank you.
  7. "Cuban would be fun, he has tons of money but I would worry a bit about his meddling. He seems like the type of guy who would throw ridiculous contracts around to try and win right away." Are you saying this like it would be a bad thing? If he would want to throw money at Prince to stay, sign a Sabathia-type pitcher, it's his money, all the better for the fans. I would take Cuban in a heartbeat. When I did watch the NBA, Dallas was my favorite team after the Bucks.
  8. Who cares. More important things to worry about in the world. The Cards are crybabies, we all knew that. Now we know Molina is a mamma's boy who can't take it when someone says something bad to him.
  9. "Braun simply doesn't care." I don't know that I'd say that. I think that's a bit harsh. I would guess he was always a SS growing up. I think he's still learning the OF. He's only been out there for a couple years now. And that picture makes Cain look a lot farther away from the ball because of the angle of the camera. Plus we don't know if Cain was calling for the ball. It's always the CFer's ball first. However I do agree that Braun and Hart are below average defenders. I've sat in the RF bleachers for quite a few games watching Hart not being able to read the ball off the bat. Maybe he needs glasses.
  10. 1. Beatles - Revolver Honorable Mention: Nirvana - Incesticide Red Hot Chili Peppers - Mother's Milk Cream - Fresh Cream Hendrix - Are You Experienced Bob Marley - Legend Beck - Odelay
  11. All right. Well it's still not very much, even after tax.
  12. Yeah, that's not very much at all. $15M of "profit", also usually means before taxes. Which is probably in the 30% range for them.
  13. Gomez. He has the far superior throwing arm. And it's not even close. In all other aspects of the game they are probably pretty close.
  14. I can see it now. Fielder in a Cubs uniform. Great.
  15. It had to hit him. Classy ball players like the Cards don't fake getting hit by the pitch. That wouldn't be respecting the game.
  16. Yes, I'm a golfer. I know the rules, and I know the correct ruling was made but that wasn't my issue with the call. "the only thing that should have been done was the PGA officials should have directed the marshals to push the crowd back and out of the bunker." That's what I'm saying as well. It was the last hole and the last group of the day. All marshals were available. With that many people around him, grassy patches around the ball, garbage on the ground, it was very hard to tell it was indeed a bunker. They could have had at least half the marshals over there pushing the people back so everyone could clearly see it was in fact a bunker and not simply a grassy waste area that had been worn down from people walking and standing there. Johnson is clearly not without fault himself. But it was poorly handled by the PGA, at a time when they need to draw more fans, with Tiger not on top and Phil not playing his best (althou he did seem to find something on Sunday). This will not help, it will only turn people off.
  17. Yes it is part of the rules official's job to tell him he was in a bunker. The head of the PGA even said the official could have/should have told him. The golfer and his caddy in that situation have enough to worry about. Crowd control should not have to be one of them. The PGA botched it big time. A poor ending to what was otherwise a fantastic championship.
  18. The entire situation was botched. #1 The PGA Should have done a better job of clearing the fans away. - Official could have and should have told him he was in a bunker. - Johnson and caddy could have and should have asked if the were in a bunker. That should not have been declaired a bunker thou. There was grass and actual garbage within a foot or so of the ball. It was handled very, very poorly by the PGA. It was the last hole, they should have had all their field marshals over there helping clear people away, so it could be determined if it was in fact a bunker.
  19. Did you see the look on Macha's face? It was almost like "dam, now I'm going to have to play the rookie more."
  20. I don't know why you guys would expect anything different than the rest of that paper. The entire thing is a piece of garbage. The only thing that paper is good for is lining your pet's litter box. And since I don't have a pet, that paper isn't allowed in my house.
  21. Tell you what, I'm getting a bit sick of seeing our guys get hit in the head. Intentional or not, that's unacceptable. A few Cubs players better go down tonight.
  22. I'm not sure why anyone reads anything that terrible paper calls "news".
  23. Figures. Just the Brewers luck. They might actually have a good chunk of change to spend next year, but not any players worthy of earning that money.
