Uh... Terrible article. Did it happen to mention that three of those starts were at home? Or that in his last four road starts, he has only given up 4 ER in 28 IP, for a 1.29 ERA? I don't see the D-Backs getting four runs off him tonight. I don't see the bullpen giving up even one run. I see the Crew scoring more than four runs. The series is over tonight. -
Think we get to see any Brad Ziegler in this one? Fun stat line of the day: 2 GP, 0.1 IP, 4 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 0 K, 1 Error, 18.00 WHIP, 108.00 ERA

Gibson looks completely lost on what moves to make and when to make them. RR is outmanaging him at every turn. Course it sure makes you look better when your stars are performing like they are right now. I don't think Greinke did that bad yesterday or the 3-days rest had much effect on him at all. It was the right move putting him out there. Especially since Gallardo went 8 the day before and you only had to use Axford.

Just an FYI ... I think the rules change during the playoffs. We have Section 235 for the playoffs, left field bleachers. I believe the person who caught Upton's blast and threw it back on the field was kicked out of the stadium for, I would guess, "throwing something on the field". I may be wrong, might have been for something else, but sure looked that way to us. So, just a tip I guess. Give that ball to someone else to throw back on the field.

Depends upon which bar you go to, of course, but I haven't seen much of that this year the times I've taken the shuttles. But if you are concerned about the 20-somethings, I would then go with Long Wong's. I think it's a little more reserve crowd.

I would go to one of the many bars on Bluemound and take a shuttle into the game. Find a bar that looks good to you. Park around there. Grab a drink or some food, then hop on the shuttle. I've been going to Rounding Third on 63rd this year, but you really can't go wrong with any of them. Kelly's, Long Wongs, Steve's, Mo's, etc... They all have shuttles.

I think Greinke can and will go on Sunday. He's 27 years old. Only threw 170 innings this year. Only 75 pitches last night. It's not like he's been overworked. This is why you brought him here. I'd still feel much more comfortable having Gallardo and Greinke, both fully rested, and available for a potential Game 5 here in Milwaukee. Then whichever one you don't use in Game 5 is most likely your Game 1 NLCS starter. Give Marcum Game 3 at ARZ, then 2 and 6 at PHA.

Another Prince side note: He needs 2 hits to get up to .300 for the year. He can go 2-4 and he'll be exactly .300. (171-570) No fractions of a point at all. If he gets 5 ABs, he'll need 3 hits. 1-1, technically gets him .300, but it will be .299823. That's not .300 in my book.

Did you guys listen to Bob and Brian this morning? Drew Olson took the blame for that comment by Sutton. During the inning he sent Darrin a text, saying something like: get that game over with so we can celebrate over here. So it was partially directed towards Drew. BTW, Sutton still has good ties with Milwaukee. He does TV for our Milwaukee Panther Men's basketball games.

I wouldn't say they are doomed. I would say it's not the ideal rotation. Laugh it off, dismiss it all you want, say it's random, quote whatever sabermetrics stats you want, I don't care. I'll go with what I've seen from each pitcher in the current year. Is it "Suppan starting a playoff game" bad? No, of course not. I'm just a little less comfortable with starting Marcum in Game 2 in Miller Park, than I would be with Greinke in that slot.

I still think you have to pitch Marcum on the road. "Ho-Marcum", for whatever reason, just isn't as good as "Ro-Marcum". If they get home field: Gallardo and Greinke at home. Doesn't matter who goes first, you can throw either one in Game 5 on regular rest. Gallardo and Marcum, if they don't get home field. Greinke gets Game 3 here. In a 7-game series, assuming they are at Philly. I like Gallardo for games 1 & 5, Marcum gets two road starts with games 2 & 6, Greinke then gets 3 & 7.

Considering Taylor Green has probably faced Dickson more than once in the minors, and might be the only one on the team who has, I thought today would be his first start as well. (Or at least I was hoping it would be.)
