  1. Calgary/Detroit going to OT in Game 6.
  2. Boy, what a nice calm afternoon this was until 15 minutes ago.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  3. I think I'll pull for San Jose and Vancouver so I've got late night viewing options.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  4. I'm really surprised at Nashville's early exit. I thought they could make a little noise this year. It's too bad. So now who to root for? Not Detroit.
  5. As far as I know, Def Leppard is still the same lineup they've had for many years. Their only real personnel change was long ago when guitarist Steve Clark died and was replaced by Vivian Campbell. They always put on a good show.
  6. Pirates win 6-1.
  7. Dallas/Vancouver heading to OT3.
  8. Great to see Aquino prepared to pitch and come out firing strikes.
  9. I'll be rooting for the Preds because of the Admirals connection. Me too.
  10. Opening Night TV Schedule: 6 PM Pittsburgh @ Ottawa (On VS.) 9 PM Dallas @ Vancouver (on VS.) 9:30 PM Minnesota @ Anaheim (Watch online for free @ Yahoo) I'm not familiar with hd.net which BoneDaddy mentioned, but don't forget about the free netcasts offered by Yahoo Sports--just go to the boxscore and click on "watch live".
  11. I'd like to see the Predators win the West. In the east, how about Ottawa (Heatley) or Pittsburgh (loads of young guns). I'm also always a fan of the West Coast teams because that means late TV games.
  12. Anyone know if it is Illegal to drive without pants? Go for it. Let us know!
  13. This thread had "cheese sandwich" potential with the direction it was taking regarding pants, or lack thereof.
  14. screw this, some east coast people need to work tomorrow. And some of us Wisconsin people just got home. WooHoo!
  15. Do the Indians and Angels deserve their own game threads this week? You'd seem to think a lot of us will be paying attention to those games as well as our own.
  16. Sounds like some good hacks against Saito. We've still got the ninth.
  17. apparently that "gonzo . . gonzo . . .bonzo" chant never gets old. Is that what they're saying? I'm getting "Gonzo" but was missing the punchline. Whatever it is, it sounds stupid.
  18. Hey Burnie...If you have DirecTV you should be getting a Free Preview of MLB Extra Innings. The game will be on Channel 742. So you can watch it tonight there. The preview ends on Monday. I already have the season package of Extra Innings so I'll be checking 742 out. I hope you're right, but I've always just assumed that if it's not on "our" FSN, it won't be on.
  19. Hey, the Nats won a game. Special thanks go out to Florida closer Jorge Julio for his 9th inning meltdown. 1/3 IP, 5H, 3R, BB
  20. Should be on 1310 tonight, last night was 1070 and they power down at 8:00 or whatever so it was static for most of the game. Idiots. Another reason I hate the local ESPN Radio. I looked at the DirecTV listings and it shows Celtics/Bucks on 642, so it's a Ueck night.
  21. 5. Milwaukee fans who booed Brady Clark were drunk and wrong in doing so. He got a big ovation before the game when the sober crowd was in the stadium Again, this is correct. We drinkers would've just ruined the "sober crowd" applause. Give me a break.
  22. I can't listen to that stuff anymore,by about age 16 i was pretty much done with that sort of music outside of occasionally enjoying hearing one on the radio. When i poke fun at that music,i don't mean anything personal at you or any still followers of it since i once was one That's cool danzig. That's why I gave the http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif after my "bad taste" comment, just to poke at people.
  23. I gotcha RyDogg and I get what you're saying. But I'm not stuck in the genre, it's where I like to be and for whatever reason, my tastes have not changed. Maybe I'm just a simple man when it comes to tunes. I have given some different things a listen, but it's not happening. I can honestly say I do not like any of that stuff. For example, there is a certain band that many people on this site rave about. So, being curious, I gave them a few listens, maybe 4-5 songs. Hated it. I guess my problem is I read the music threads and I kinda know what certain people already like from their posts, so I dismiss anything new they suggest because I already don't like their prior suggestions, you know? Ah well, it's fine to be different and I've accepted that beyond the Brewers, we're a diverse group with broad-ranging interests. That's what makes this place what it is.
  24. People are music snobs if they don't like Bon Jovi or formulated 80's hair metal? No, then they just have bad taste.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  25. 1. Bon Jovi stinks I disagree. I say everything in almost all of the new music threads here stinks--it's all a matter of taste. While not a huge fan of Bon Jovi, I would go. They're a little too much on the "poppy" side for me at times.
