    I haven't followed wrestling in 10 years, but I know who Benoit is and I'm just as curious as anybody as to what happened. It's just way too weird that he missed a PPV for personal reasons and the next thing you know his family is dead. It's just sad.

    That's a big boy. Perhaps you could start grooming him to take over for Fielder. Sure is. I believe I was 9 1/2 pounds and I make Prince look tiny these days. Hope he's watching with you tonight....and congrats!

    We were very close to the scout camp. Don't know if it's still there. If I recall, looking at "2 o'clock" from my pier I could see the Heidel House. I went back up there a few years ago with a friend and we parked on a sand barge for most of the day with about 200 other boats...nice scenery.

    I just made plans to rent a Cottage on Green Lake Do you know where? My family used to own a cottage on Big Green Lake. My great aunt was old and irrational and just went and sold it without telling anyone. I know for a fact we would have bought it. It was tiny, but had a huge yard with a good 30-40 feet of lake frontage down a hill in the backyard. I can only imagine how much time I'd spend up there now if we still had the place.

    come on dude get in the 21 century. No cell phone? Thats all I have Technically, I don't have one either. I have a prepay that I've made less than 5 calls on in the past year. I keep it strictly for must-use situations, not for sending texts while at work or calling people while I'm at the supermarket. For the most part, people use them when they shouldn't and it makes me hate cells even more. Sorry, no more threadjack.

    Been a long time since I've legitimately posted in this thread. davego, what does it feel like to see a road win? You all should make sure I'm not travelling to see the team.... 0-3 in Cincinnati 0-3 in San Fran 1-2 in Minnesota 0-1 in Chicago I am the road curse. Then again, in SF, I saw Jamey Wright and John Snyder as starting pitchers. I didn't have a real chance.

    My first CD was White Lion - Big Game. Very nice. I've been trading CDs online (lala.com) and have really built up the collection lately. Perfect way to get rid of some bad music decisions and get some hard to find CDs from the genre.

    And yes, leather pants and poofy bangs on dudes are ridiculous. I don't think you would debate that. It's like the music, everyone's different. I never had a mullet or anything associated with the hair genre. Leather pants are ridiculous. How uncomfortable do you think those are?

    What a surprise. The hipsters come in cracking their stale jokes. You know, I don't crash the Phish or Ryan Adams or Rage threads because I think they suck and will not add anything of merit to the discussion. It would be nice if people could just pass this up if they're not a fan. Yes, I am a fan and always will be. How uncool of me. At least I've got cool sportscars and mullets and felonies on my record. What a tired and worn out thing to say...but I'm sure you believe it.

    how long of a injury is a strained left groin? Isn't that what pushed Clemens' first start back? For him, it was one rotation turn.

    I have so many things to say that would get me banned here. Man, I'm a poor loser. I gave Verlander props somewhere, but now I'm just angry. After this I don't know how to feel. Seeing the celebration makes me want to drop a "I hope you suffer the same fate as JM Gold from here on out". Ugh.......I am not happy.

    Yeah, there was some luck on his side and the strike zone may have been exaggerated at times, but Verlander was plain filthy and dominated our hitters.

    Thanks for posting that info. If had found that though, there is no way I would post it anywhere. Well if ESPN 1070 would stop running the promos, I'd have a chance at keeping it secret. Then again, it was never a secret as they ran with it as a "major announcement" last week. Someone here is going and will post pictures.
