i would recommend a halti head collar if he is rambunctious on walks. it works very well for our large "puppy" (15 month old 95lb coonhound) if the wide open spaces become an issue, I would train him off the leash in a smaller area and increase the size of the area up to the local high school.

I will be golfing there this Thursday, and I am required to take a caddy. Has anyone ever had a caddy there? Are they teenage boys who just carry your clubs, or are they older guys who actually try to help you/tell you what to do? -
