  1. I was pro tanking, but no way they get a top 5 pick. So I'd rather see a playoff series than get the 9th pick or something. What's nice is that the bulls and heat both don't have good centers, so I could see the bucks winning a few games in each of those series
  2. Yeah let MU keep getting overlooked/underrated. http://aol.sportingnews.com/ncaa-basketball/story/2012-03-19/ncaa-tournament-2012-kentucky-michigan-state-ohio-state-syracuse-kansas-baylor-n The sole fact that Indiana has a better chance than MU is ridiculous. Indiana will get rolled by Kentucky. If MU can get by Florida, imagine the talking heads gushing over Crowder vs Green.
  3. Sloppy win for Marquette, with little contribution from DJO. But sweet 16 baby!!! (Gotta love Buzz!)
  4. Vander blue is a failure
  5. DJO and Crowder are both broke.
  6. If Marquette can get by Murray State tomorrow, at least they won't have to face Missouri
  7. These officials should never be allowed to ref in the NCAA tournament again
  8. I would laugh so hard if somehow UNC ashville can win this
  9. Cadougan playing great for MU. Vander Blue... not so much
  10. What's so weird about that? One team ranked 8th in the country, the other ranked 10th in the country, both mid majors so neither are going to have strong schedules and one gets a 3 seed and the other gets a 7 seed. You don't think that's weird? I was only referring to the Delaware seeding. Sorry
  11. Not only that but another mid-major in Delaware is ranked 8th in the nation and gets a 3 seed. What's so weird about that?
  12. I don't mind the trade. The trade with the rockets that didn't happen obviously happen would have been a lot better though.
  13. Sorry if its been brought up many times, but could Braun and 2 other Brewers all have had crazy high test results, and all 3 appealed, and all 3 won? I heard the other 2 were thrown out, but have we confirmed that?
  14. Thanks to everyone for your kind words. I appreciate being able to share my thoughts at a place where I don't know you all personally, but yet I know you all treat me like we are all a part of a family. Cleo is in a better place now. We will miss her, but we are glad we got to spend these last 21 months with her. R.I.P. "mer cler"
  15. After quite a battle, tomorrow is going to be the day we put her down. I just feel so sorry for her. I truly believe that if there was one pet out there who deserved another 5 years, it's Cleo. I'm sorry girl, and we love you. Felt the need to say it even though you can't read...
  16. As a MU fan, a 3 or 4 makes no difference to me. If they are a 3 seed they might draw a nightmare sweet 16 matchup like Missouri/Baylor/Kansas, or they could draw Duke or a big 10 team. If they fall to a 4, the could be in with Kentucky/UNC or they could get a big 10 team or Syracuse. Its all about the matchups and locations. Wouldn't it be ironic if MU got the 3 seed in Kentucky's region, setting up a rematch from '03 with a chance to go to New Orleans...
  17. Not worried at all. It would be a poor career move for buzz to even consider that move
  18. I think people need to take a step back and really think about what Jay Bilas was saying. He is not trying to keep teams like Butler, VCU, Davidson, Cornell & others our of the tourney. He is trying to keep the "Western Kentucky's" from weakening the field. The odds of one of these mid-majors winning that get a 16 seed or 15 seed is less than 1%. Jay's point is that if you let the best 68 teams into the tourney, the VCUs and Davidsons will still get into the tournament, as would most of the regular season conference winners. I dont think there would be any less mid-majors in the tourney each year and I dont think there would be any less cinderella stories. I guarentee if you asked Jay Bilas if he'd rather see like a Colorado State & VCU in the tourney vs a Seton Hall & Northwestern, he would pick the smaller schools. I think it should be conference regular season winners, and maybe still play the conference tourneys and have the non-power conference tourney winners that aren't the regular season champs play in another 3 day tourney the next weekend for 1 or 2 more auto bids. This would get rid of 2 more weak bubble teams. It would also give there a chance to be some truly cinderella teams.
  19. Congrats to jae for winning big east poty
  20. it sure seems like Braun is letting this stuff affect him...
  21. I think Marshall will be a decent NBA player, but is nothing to get reall excited about IMO. A good role player, can run an offense, but not a key building block for a team needing to rebuild. But I understand what you are saying...
  22. I liked your idea until you said sullinger, Barnes and Marshall.
  23. This is a pretty big deal actually. He will miss most if not all of ST and will likely start the season on the DL.
