  1. As for Kemp, I saw he's going to be in the HR Derby and he's already picked the team, so I assume he'll be good for playing the game as well.
  2. I'm pretty sure you can hear Uecker having a lack of enthusiasm when Weeks bats.
  3. I'm pretty sure by now the whole league realizes we're going to bunt if we get a runner to third. But they'll never expect it with the bases loaded!
  4. I realize you need to complain about RRR everyday, but seriously, how many times have you made a complaint like this; So today he doesn't just stick Aoki or Gomez into Braun's spot and you're mad that he's shuffled the lineup instead. At least try to have some objectivity for crying out loud.

  9. If the word is just they've offered it to him, or are about to, I guess that's not really surprising. As RockCo said, they have to try to sign an extension now, to know if they'll seriously listen to offers in a few weeks.

  12. I initially felt much the same, but Veras hasn't really been that bad for the past month plus if you look at the numbers. Before this game, he'd only given up runs in two appearances since May 18, and in both of them he came into the game with the bases loaded, so it's hard to put much blame on him.
  13. Coming to this game late. Did Loe blow a lead for Wolf again?

  15. I very highly doubt ESPN pays based on pageviews. Heck, even fellow ESPN Jerry Crasnick told Caple to give it a rest on Twitter.
  16. According to Mike Vassallo (@MikeVassallo13) on Twitter, he will be, and this is just procedural for now.
  17. I think I'll show up as well. I don't have tickets to that game yet. If others need tickets too, we should move quickly on that. By my completely random sampling of tickets, it looks to be decently full already.

  19. Axford linked a good article about Miller Park and Milwaukee; Why ESPN’s Jim Caple is Wrong and What Milwaukee Brewers Fans See in Miller Park
  20. Wow, smug, angry and elitist. Who'd have guessed? It's weird where this has gone. From starting as a social media push by the Brewers, to a simmering feud led by all-out douchebaggery.
  21. I look forward to the smug, angry writeup he has for the next round. Or, even better, having to declare Miller Park the winner. Listening to that radio interview, he's clearly agitated by the outcome. Personally I think Miller Park is a better ballpark than Caple is giving it credit for, certainly not the sixth worst in the league. Caple's rankings are pretty skewed on the history and location I think. No way is Wrigley the 6th best stadium in any other capacity.
  22. Psssttt.... viewtopic.php?f=82&t=6633
  23. Well, maybe helping the starting rotation means, by having an actual long man in the bullpen again.
