    Brad Lidge has been one of the best relievers for years. Aquino is guy who wasn't trusted to pitch close games for the DBacks last year. Lidge was brought in with a four run lead. Aquino was brought in in a tie game Not anywhere close to the same.

    Boith Turnbow and Cordero were up and ready to go. They were available. Aquino isn't bad based on his last outings, he's bad necause he's never been good.

    Aquino isn't some new pitcher. He has over two full season in the majors and is 29. He is what he is. And thats a power pitcher with serious control issues. He walks 4.5/9. http://www.fangraphs.com/graphs/1899_P_season_full_2_20070419.png This is a guy you should never trust with men on base.

    There is a reason Aquino was never used by the DBacks in presure situations last year. The guy averages a walk every other inning.

    No I got the point. My point is that a 1000 OPS with bad defense in the PCL may mean a 800 OPS in MLB with bad defense.

    Braun is doing well, but I think people are still overvaluing what he would give the Brewers, Keep in mind prior to being called up to Milwaukee Weeks in AAA was hitting: .320/.403/.655 (This is from Brewerfan , so the OBP is likely low do to the HPB not working correctly.)

    Yep, in the bag. I don't know why Mench wasn't DSed out to keep CV in, but it must be that in any leading "close" game Turnbow pitches the 8th and Cordero the 9th.

    A four run lead in the 8th is a game thats put away. The winning percentage is 97%.

    The point is why is Wise getting warmed up in a 4 run game when he can't be used tomorrow if he comes in.
