  1. So MassBrew's prediction was that Hendrickson would be gone before his first AB?
  2. Which means it was a problem with either the official scorer or the Dodgers PR announcer.
  3. It was not a great pitching job. Davis threw 92 pitches, but only 53 for strikes. If the Dodgers were more patient things could have gone differently. Not to take too much from Davis who was going on short rest, but he wasn't really sharp.
  4. So you have Cora, who is killing the ball, and Grabowski on your bench. Of course you take Grabowski. EDIT: And oh yeah Cora bats lefty.
  5. So when exactly did Bennett give Yost his sign that he was done? When he gave up the single to Roberts(Roberts!?!), or when he starts the next hitter off 3-0?
  6. The short amount of rest is not agreeing with Davis apparently.
  7. Actually, my guess is that LA fans would rather have games not during working hours. An 8 pm start is just enough time to get home from work and then get back on the road to get to the game.
  8. Well, actually I have been thinking, is something wrong with Burba? Or has Ned just forgot about him with all his new toys to pitch with? He last pitched on May 25th and wouldn't have gotten in today if Kolb closed the door.
  9. BTW, any reason Kieschneck wasn't used with a man on?
  10. Good news? This isn't a save situtation and Gagne blows these occasionally.
  11. Anyone know how Clark was thrown out at third?
  12. Is it time to move Jenkins down in the order so his RBI chances go to others?
  13. Well Santos did have a 45.00 ERA against SD coming into the game...
  14. But it meant that Kiesneck would face a lefty. Kiesneck can't hit leftys. So what good did it do? EDIT: 2Ks in 2 days for Kolb!
  15. So is Weaver done for the day? He is up next and has thrown 91 pitches.
  16. So pogokay bribed the scorer to take away Ginter's hit and keeping Weaver from being chraged with a deserved earned run. It all makes sense now.
  17. Before people start talking about how great the pitching has been over the past few weeks, remember who the Brewers opponents have been. The New York Mets who average 4.3 runs per game (scored 4.67 per game against the Brewers), the Expos at 2.65 runs per game (3.33 runs against the Brewers), the Braves at 4.48 runs per game (4.67 runs per against the Brewers), the Pirates at 4.7 runs per game (2 per game against the Brewers in the last 2), and the Dodgers at 4.34 runs per game (so far 3 per against the Brewers). Of course the Dodgers offense might be returning to its true form right now. So the Brewers haven't exactly been pitching lights out but played some offensively challenged teams and did OK against them.
  18. Well Ginter bunts, Clark is walked and we rely on Moeller and Kinney to drive the runs in. EDIT:Nevermind.
  19. My problem with the call is that Podsednik can steal third easily. so why give up the out?
  20. How many times does Hall need to be caught stealing before Yost decides he really can't steal?
