    Yuku and ezBoard are separate accounts. When Brewerfan migrates (or when another ezBoard you're a member of migrates), a Yuku account will be created for you. You can also migrate 'manually' anytime you want beforehand. With Yuku, linked ezBoard accounts become a single account with two profile names. That'll enable you to flip between usernames via a popup when you post. This is doable because with Yuku, you log in with your e-mail address rather than your username. Of course, if you can also flip between five signatures, you may decide you don't need that second account. Your post total at the time you migrate will transfer. After migrating, posts made on ezBoard will not be added to your Yuku post totals. However, when it works, you should have the option to show your recent ezBoard posts in your Yuku profile.

    I assume billyhallfan is using the account with the sig on another ezBoard. Yuku handles this better. You can have five sigs, set one as the default, and change them on a post by post basis. If you post the wrong sig, you should be able to edit in the right one.

    I think the select-a-size paper towels are great. I often don't need a full paper towel. Just get into the habit of tearing off the amount you need.

    That word's been on the banned list for about a year. I wasn't moderating at the time it was added. But I'd guess that the reasoning was that too large a segment of this forum was very 'casual' about its use and that dropping a nuclear bomb on the word was a better option than trying to retrain those using it. Unfortunately, Brian doesn't have the same level of control over language in the chat room. We're stuck with 'ordering' people to be nice. I believe Yuku allows board administrators to use the same cuss list on both the forums and in chat.

    If you're able to protect cookies, you can stay logged into both sites virtually all the time. Granted, of course, ezBoard might log people off when it gets into a mood, but lambeauleap's been dependable for me.     You can have five ezBoard accounts under a single e-mail address. The accounts can then be linked. You might need ezSupporter for some of this to happen. Yuku gives the users the ability to have five usernames under a single account. With either board, you end up with the ability to have up to five profiles per e-mail address. I haven't heard of anything about a Yuku migration being imminent. The important thing is that under either ezBoard or Yuku, Brewerfan got a money break for committing to migrate.

    Also, consider this tidbit from the forum FAQ: Some sites aren't really happy to have their servers taxed by constantly having another site downloading their photos. And it really does help page loading time if file sizes and dimensions are small. There's an avatar floating around here somewhere that's half a megabyte and over 2,000 by 2,000 pixels. This will be much less of an issue with Yuku. It'll create thumbnails and display those instead of the originals.

    To me, the only significant way post counts are useful would to be to make the differentiation between a newbie who should be helped along vs. a veteran who should know better. If you want a new username and would like people to know 'who you were', you can put a link to your former profile in your signature.
