  1. I don't know what traveling means in the NBA anymore, either.
  2. rluzinski, I understand your point, but I'm lost with "Multiple Linear Regression"! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif Using simple logic (which, of course, doesn't always work) it would stand to reason that a point of OBP is worth more than a point of SLG. OBP covers 1,000 points while SLG covers 4,000. Still, it's interesting that OPS works so well, better than OBP or SLG individually.
  3. I see exactly what hawing sees.
  4. Could extended stats be placed right underneath the regular stats? That would accomodate font issues, along with saving the bother of a link and still putting everything right in front of the visitor.
  5. The game's starting. Where is everyone? Are people assuming this game was called off?
  6. Once we're all done getting a kick out of this thread, I think moving it over to WOAH SOLVDD would be cool. It sure fits.
  7. I sent this in as a Car Soup question last night. I think we should try to get it on:
  8. When you watch the Little League World Series, you find that their fundamentals are fine. They could teach a few lessons to some big league clubs. I'll refrain from naming names. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
  9. Stuff from the rule book. This part has been around forever: This is a relatively recent change. I don't know when it was made but it gets rid of the 'revert to the last full inning part':
  10. You're right, Mike. The Marlins have the lead; it's all over if it's called. I'm not sure what I was (wishfully) thinking when I posted that. Let's say the Brewers took the lead in the top of the sixth and then the game was called, then it would have been suspended and resumed.
  11. Is anyone else hoping that the game is suspended and resumed in Milwaukee in August?
  12. It's a brief mention in this article (Fits like a glove: Brewers fans prefer old-school logo), but here it is:
  13. I have no problem with the number of polls. I only have a problem with how the ezBoard software treats them. What I mind about polls:They bump to the top even if there isn't a new message to read. They'll cause the main forum list to show that there are new messages. Then, when the user follows the link, the only change is that someone has voted in a poll.Still, I don't consider the problems to be major. If there's a practical way to adjust how polls are handled, that'd be cool. If not, the time to address the situation might be if Brian is able to write his own message board software.
  14. Somebody suggested this thing, but you need a computer.
  15. Bill's claiming he gave Rickie Weeks advice?? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif
  16. Wouldn't it be nice if we could trust our color commentator to fill us in on stuff like that?
  17. I think I have an LSD issue, too. Anyone else?
  18. I guess we can't escape Brainerd. He's on the telephone. Not seeing him is better, though.
  19. It's Craig Coshun tonight. No Bob Brainerd!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
