I see that Matt and Bill are pronouncing Arcia properly (AR-cia). That's not intuitive for English speakers because we expect it to rhyme with García. Bob Uecker had it correct from the get-go. Brian and Bill have been on and off.

Impersonal can be good, and it's necessary when it comes to making tough decisions. But from a fan standpoint, it's easy to enjoy the fun personalities. Still, we tend to understand when it becomes time to part company like we had to do with Favre.

I love him as a player, and after seeing him interact with the fans in Biloxi, he jumped even higher on my list of guys I want to see do really well. One of the minor league broadcasters said that Maverick has never met a stranger.

Derek Johnson says that Zach has savvy beyond his years. I think that's a good description.

I think a powder blue jersey can work today with white pants. But I wouldn't want to see it as a full uniform. I can't see it with gray pants. That would make it a home alternate rather than a full road set. Still, if the Royals are doing it currently, maybe that's enough.

Also, if he comes back within 20 days and stays, the option won't be used at all.

Broxton had two options left at the time of the move. Regarding options, while most of the Brewerfan main site is obsolete, the 40-man roster page, which lists options available, is up to date.

It's not something we're likely to see, but if a team rented a player in May and subsequently fell apart, it could always sublet that player in July.
