    so you were going to watch the game knowing the final score? i bow to your die hardness. as for me--when the brewers scored their first run and the cubs answered right back I couldn't take anymore.

    losing by 1 and losing by 20 net the same result in the grand scheme. 4-2 at wrigley would be a nice early season accomplishment.

    Off days suck, but not really this time. Watching the brewers lately has been a frustrating task. I needed a day off.

    I guess the question now become if sheets does pitch against the cubs do you limit his pitch count or innings? He has missed one start and the start before that was shortened.

    love it woogie, funny stuff. things are starting to look alittle bleak. with sheets missing a start we could be looking at a lengthy losing streak (5-7 games)

    i don't think this can be classified as a straight yosting. corey hart catches a fly ball this isn't a problem. then again.... he probably would have brought in gagne who would have likely blown a save so that would have been a yosting.

    gameday just provided video of that hart error. completely brutal. no one on so he doesn't need to worry about making a throw after the catch and he just took his eyes of it. no excuse, little leaguers make that play with regularity.

    Well, he did have 98 pitches... sure didn't stop yost yesterday with Yo. I swear he makes it up as he goes along. Even though I agree with the move today.

    god i hate watching games on gameday. fielding error by hart and he ends up on third. what happend?

    jeez gameday is now frozen for me. that or kendall hit a pop up that hasn't come down for 5 minutes. what else can go wrong. edit: well i guess there was option three. a rundown that took awhile for the gameday ppl to type out.

    you guys serious about the gagne thing? charter cable is now completely black on fsn so i'm going with gameday.

    I'm watching on charter cable and fsn is unwatchable right now. Little to no audio and constant video skipping.

    Yeah considering the bum the Reds had pitching they all should have gone 4-5. The aftermath of yesterday's yosting is that Gagne is for sure unavailable (you would think anyway) and with Wainwright out there a win will likely be a close win. edit: forgot the blue

    anyone defending yost right now is never going to criticize him. not only did he use gagne for a fourth straight day, he didn't have anyone warming up behind him just in case. brewers carry 14 pitchers and yost chooses the one with the tired arm because he can't get beyond basic baseball strategy. then by the time torres was ready the winning run was walked on base. gagne shares some of the blame (if you don't have it say so, don't gut it out), but hard to blame a pitcher with a tired arm. 16 years of major league coaching and pitcher management is still a complete mystery to him.

    Nice. Sets up well for mr. solid brian shouse. He won't have to face phillips in between junior and dunn.
