  1. 6 hits 1 walk and 3 hbp in 5 innings isn't solid. Three bonehead plays by the phillies saved him. He was all over the place. If the phillies played solid this game we're talking about as many as 4 more runs. He doesn't have the dominating stuff to get away with getting behind in counts and giving away free bases. Until he throws quality strikes consistently he will continue to fail.
  2. Seriously? How about walking and or hitting every batter and his mother. EDIT: Imagine if this team hadn't been hitting the crap out of the ball. God, put someone out there who can throw a strike.
  3. hahaha winkelsas loves the ganga. EDIT: Are you serious? There is not one team in major league baseball that thinks 4 runs in 5 innings is good from their 5th starter much less their 4th. Not to mention the phillies did everything they could not to score runs (rollins first pitch swing with the bases load from dana walking and hitting batters, howard heading home on contact with 0 outs in the inning, abreu trying to steal a bag and getting thrown out). Eveland is not major league ready. period.
  4. well i dunno if the brewers have the offense to comeback from 2 runs down http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif please for the love of god look first pitch hanging curve ball down the middle against this guy. he's thrown so many of those first pitch i've lost count. nm madson is out. geary and his rubber arm are out there.
  5. Thanks blue for extending that inning. what a joke.
  6. Would have been nice to have clark batting in that situation instead of moeller.
  7. Wow Clark, ever play centerfield before? Eveland deserves it. Hopefully this is finally his last start.
  8. Apparently the Phillies like losing. First pitch swing by rollins with the bases juiced and eveland can't find the plate. Abreu trying to steal? Just wait a few pitches bobby and you can walk to second. Far less less physically taxing and risky then trying to steal.
  9. So I guess the brewers should be careful with him over the next 4 games.
  10. Someone give Prince some shades! Gotta love rollins. Eveland can't find the plate and he's first pitch swinging with the bases loaded. Hopefully dana can find the control he had in the first inning.
  11. Way to go dana, you get a two run lead and you walk two guys to start the inning. Is the plate bigger in Nashville or something?
  12. Koskie!!! Like Kalas was saying, man the ball carries there.
  13. lol yeah. And the color guy said something like "go ahead and throw the ball and hit him there." Wow. Alittle brewer bitterness I think.
  14. Early on Eveland's control looks better then his previous starts this year. He dotted the outside corner a few times with his fastball.
  15. That rowand guy can play centerfield alittle bit.
  16. Milwaukee Philadelphia --------- ------------ Pos Player HR RBI AVG. Pos Player HR RBI AVG. --- ------ -- --- ---- --- ------ -- --- ---- 2B Weeks, Rickie 5 14 .311 SS Rollins, Jimmy 5 15 .246 SS Hall, Bill 12 27 .282 2B Utley, Chase 9 30 .317 RF Jenkins, Geoff 7 33 .266 RF Abreu, Bobby 6 35 .285 LF Lee, Carlos 17 43 .282 LF Burrell, Pat 13 36 .292 1B Fielder, Prince 8 31 .326 1B Howard, Ryan 16 42 .301 3B Koskie, Corey 5 17 .292 CF Rowand, Aaron 6 17 .300 C Moeller, Chad 2 5 .245 3B Bell, David 4 19 .265 CF Clark, Brady 1 9 .274 C Fasano, Sal 1 5 .235 P Eveland, Dana (0-1, 8.22) P Madson, Ryan (4-3, 5.9<img src=http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/glasses.gif ALT="8)"> I think Moeller should be in the 8 spot. The catcher doesn't have to hit 7th Ned.
  17. I was up and its a noon game so if figured what the heck.
  18. Brewers go for 4 in a row this afternoon. Stay hot bats. Pitching matchup MIL: LHP Dana Eveland (0-1, 8.22 ERA) He'll be making his fourth start of the season. http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/4589/eveland2iv.jpg PHI: RHP Ryan Madson (4-3, 5.98 ERA) He will be starting for the first time since May 6. http://media.phillyburbs.com/2005/03/30/0330madson.jpg No FSN. It will have to be radio or MLBtv/Extra Innings. http://www.berkeleysquarejazz.com/blog/pix/broom.jpg
  19. SWEEP!!! Ballgame. Turnbow, nice 123 inning. Jenks, I support you through slumps and I support you when you mash. Haters, go back under your rocks for awhile.
  20. Another phenom bites the dust. How about we not bat in the bottom of the 9th today.
  21. So that's the standard now? Honestly, his command was bad and he's lucky to have only given up 4. You watching the game on mlbtv? Moeller, wow. 2006 Brew Crew, never say die.
  22. Goodness. Two hard hit balls with men in scoring position with nothing to show for it. This kid is lucky and good.
