DAMN! Hits it hard but right at bell. I dislike double plays very much. That might have the only shot the crew will get at a rally.

Thank God. Dana's gone. Hopefully gone to AAA. Let;s get something going. Make this interesting atleast.
  3. Sheets4theHOF
Yeah, first base open and gonzalez on deck lets give david bell something to hit. Sigh.

Well Hamels changeup made Jenks and Weeks look silly. Of course they pretty much strike out more then anyone on the team.

So ah Dana's headed back to nashville in that not so distant future. Zach Jackson time in 5 days?
  8. Sheets4theHOF
So who's the long guy in the pen now? Get somebody up, anybody. I'll even take demaria.
  9. Sheets4theHOF
yes 3-0! the crew is behind, they have the phillies just where they want them. In all seriousness, eveland's command once again is poor. how exactly did he put up those sick numbers in AAA?
  10. Sheets4theHOF
Ah mlbtv viewers get the to listen to harry kalas call the game. Coolest voice in pbp imo.

Brewers go for 4 in a row this afternoon. Stay hot bats. Pitching matchup MIL: LHP Dana Eveland (0-0, 9.53 ERA) He went 3-1 with a 0.75 ERA in six Minor League starts and held opponents to a .177 batting average. PHI: LHP Cole Hamels (0-0, 0.00 ERA) He posted double-digit strikeouts in each of his three Triple-A starts (14, 12, 10). http://www.berkeleysquarejazz.com/blog/pix/broom.jpg

over jenks career he has hit lefties at about a .250 clip (atleast that's what i thought i heard during the game). Not great, but not horrible. He's having a good game and hart is unproven. I don't pull him in that situation. Even more so with the short bench--you could very well need hart in extra innings.

Jenks with a big day. Yost is a moron. Two ground balls leak out of the infield and he pulls turnbow. Gotta love this offense though. Can never count this team out of a game. Finally Darron had one of his best calls ever after Prince hit that big double, "bring in all the south paws you want!"
  14. Sheets4theHOF
Well I'm of the opinion that for some reason jenks gets blamed whenever possible and when he does have a good game gets little to no credit.
  15. Sheets4theHOF
Good god. Of all the ppl to blame tonight. You know Prince struck out against wagner too and jenks drove in just as many as him too.
  16. Sheets4theHOF
Pedro is good but comon. He has yet to go more then 7 innings this year and hasn't gone a game without giving up a run. This isn't 95-00 pedro. He's very good, but he's not unbeatable.
  17. Sheets4theHOF
I dunno. Coming back from a billion runs to just lose against the astros was unreal. Nomar beating that stupid shift back to back nights was awful. This one is up there. They all suck.
  18. Sheets4theHOF
Seriously before i go get drunk. If yost ever brings demaria into a game that is within 3 runs again i'm just gonna turn it off. You would think he would f@#ing learn.
  19. Sheets4theHOF
God what a game. Koskie a foot from sending this to the 10th. The umps zone got bigger in the 9th. Some letter high strikes. Off to drink something strong.
  20. Sheets4theHOF
I think i might join him if we don't come back and win this one.
  21. Sheets4theHOF
Assuming a Jenks out? Not saying youre wrong against wagner but still. I have one word. DEMARIA. this should be over. Hopefully yost has finally learned his lesson.
  22. Sheets4theHOF
Wow. Lo Duca was all over that. Heartbreak.
  23. Sheets4theHOF
Its Turnbow. He's been warming up. Will be interesting to see if the Mets go with Wagner in the bottom of the 9th if its tied. As we all know, Yost didn't do that on the recent roadtrip with turnbow.
  24. Sheets4theHOF
Keith Hernandez and the mets pbp guy think sanchez didn't throw at clark but i did. Either way, its fishy. Give up back to back homers and hit the next batter.
  25. Sheets4theHOF
Miller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TIE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This team never thinks they are out of it.
