  1. I would think they would put Yelich in as more of a full-time DH over Renfroe. It might keep Yelich’s back healthier, which hopefully would improve his offense, and it would keep Yelich’s awful arm out of the outfield.
  2. See him as an ignored user and you don’t need to see his posts any longer. It still shows that ignored users made a comment and you can click to see them if you are so inclined.
  3. I don’t think he even had anyone warming up until after the walk to load the bases. It was obvious Peralta didn’t have his command for most of that inning. Counsell should have had people up much sooner.
  4. I know we say it multiple times every week, but this was the worst loss of the season.
  5. Crappy throw by Adames. It’s like they want to find ways to blow games.
  6. I can’t stand walks when it’s obvious the pitcher has no command. They always seem to come back and bite us.
  7. Yep, because we can’t hit with RISP. Now they have up a single and a HR will tie it. Makes me nervous.
  8. Please don’t let our inability to get a hit with RISP make us lose this game.
  9. All the games would be on the road: The Wild Card Game has been replaced by the best-of-three Wild Card Series, which functions as the first round of play. The higher seed in each Wild Card Series will host all the games of that series, be it two or the maximum three games.
  10. I think so. I think it’s either a mental issue or some other physical issue (back?) that has altered his swing/approach.
  11. No matter how down Yelich’s offense may be, I’ll never get sick of seeing him run from 1st to home.
  12. Wow. They made that double pay waaaaay more complicated than it needed to be. Glad they got it though!
  13. Everyone is expecting a 2-run hit coming up (probably with two outs to give us hope), right? Or is it just me?
  14. That HR is essentially the end of the Brewers season as well.
  15. I was in Miller Park when the Cardinals won the 2011 NL pennant. I’m betting that was way worse.
  16. Pretty straightforward. Here’s the importance of each season: 1. Brewers win the World Series. 2. Cubs don’t win the World Series. If any team prevents #1 or fails to prevent #2 at the World Series level, they are on the $#!+ list. The Cardinals (who were already on the list from 1982) wouldn’t have been added in 2011 since it wasn’t the in the World Series (same with the Dodgers in 2018). The same goes for the Broncos in Super Bowl XXXII.
  17. Cleveland will never receive any sympathy from me since the allowed the Cubs to win a World Series.
  18. Lauer should worry about his pitching more than the front office’s “many bites of the apple” approach.
  19. Crappy lineup > crappy starting pitcher
  20. It would still depend on whether the bullpen shows up or not. ?
