    This is the same as it was back in 2011 - my brother was chosen in the lottery to purchase seats to the NLCS and sent the link to me. When I ordered tickets to game 1, I tried to go back and order more tickets, but this same thing occurred. The link and password were no longer valid. [sarcasm]Glad to see they've updated the system.[/sarcasm]

    Really? Knebel has been lights out for 2 months straight, and blows one save and you want to ditch him as the closer? That's kind of a knee jerk reaction, isn't it? As one other poster said to me on another board - this was Knebel's 3rd blown save this year. Nevermind his first BS was in the 7th inning on opening day and he pealed off 11 straight holds before being named closer.....

    That's what happens when you are guessing. The pitch Arcia let go was the only time Jensen bust him down low and in. Can't guess up there. That was a mistake, too. The catcher was setting up high.

    Wow - Keith Law on BBTN thinks the Brewers should have gotten more out of the deal than they did. Thinks Phillips is above average, but the other guys...not so much.

    In 1981, when the strike split the season into two halves, the Expos did make the playoffs. They lost in the NLCS. The season you're probably thinking of is 1994 when that strike cut the season short (no playoffs, no WS, etc). Montreal did have the best record when the season ended.

    I'd take any SSS splits in Colorado Springs with a serious grain of salt, considering how tough it is to spin any breaking balls in the environment.

    Joe Block was on Twitter last night stating that Jungmann changed his curveball grip after he was drafted and was first comfortable with the pitch last season. Block also said Jungmann cited the altitude in Colorado Springs with difficulties spinning the curve.

    That not only affected the LSU game, but they very well may have beaten Northwestern, as well......

    This somewhat corresponds to something that I heard (which I dismissed as a crazy rumor at the time, but the more I hear, the more I think it may have some merit). I heard that Tanner McEvoy slept with and/or "stole" someone else's girlfriend (Alex Erickson, I want to say). I heard that Gordon said something at halftime of that LSU game, which resulted in Gordon sitting for the 2nd half. They did mention this as part of that e-mail last night - I just didn't remember details of how far it went with the teammate's girlfriend....

    I was listening to WTMJ-AM while driving home from Northern Wis last night and the guys on Sports Central received an e-mail from an "insider" of sorts.... In it, this guy stated there was nearly a mutiny in the locker room at half during the LSU game because the players wanted Stave to play over McEvoy. One of the players who shouted at Anderson was Melvin Gordon...... There was other crap in there about McEvoy I can't completely remember, but from that message, it was clear that McEvoy was "Anderson's guy".
