  1. Updated chart after the less than compelling start to September. Green row is Brewers possible records from here on out CHC row is what they have to do for the Brewers to overtake them Rows below MIL are what they need to overtake Milwaukee http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/296/playoffs94actualuq3.jpg Feels like it's pull for the Mets from here on out, hope they win that division and beat up on the Phillies. I don't want to think how much nicer this chart would look at Milwaukee won 2 of 3 vs the Mets...
  2. Especially considering all the success they've had vs the Mets bullpen!
  3. So, it's not mandatory to strike out with a runner at 3rd and less than 2 outs? Really?
  4. Alright so instead of repeating August 2007 in August 2008, we just pushed it out a month?
  5. Good thing we got to that bad Mets Bullpen!
  6. Hopefully Tony Gwynn Jr pinch hits to lead off!
  7. The same as 2nd and 3rd with one out?
  8. Come on Prince redeem yourself here.
  9. Well, September has started off beautifully.
  10. Leadoff double, followed by 2 K's. Quite the entertaining 8th inning.
  11. 4 innings to hold a lead is just too much with this bullpen. Nice of Ned to leave him in there getting his brains beat in and give up the 3rd run though. That was a great idea Ned.
  12. Only way I'll be disappointed is if they don't make the playoffs. That being said, if Milwaukee goes even 13-13 from here on out, STL needs to go 20-5 to pass us, Philly would have to go 19-6 to pass us. Anything above .500 from here on out, and some other team will have to go on a Rockies like streak. 14-12 is about where I'd lean right now.
  13. Really? You need to throw him out there in a 7-0 game?
  14. Updated after this evenings games. Green row = hypothetical Brewers remaining games CHC row = what they would need to do to be overtaken by Brewers Other rows = what those teams would have to do to overtake Brewers * = division leaders http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/3171/playoffs830by6.jpg
  15. Six more outs to go Words that make Brewer fans pray Please hold up bullpen
  16. Did I miss a memo and the season ends Aug 27th? A 3.5 game lead over 29 games is not even close to a lock.
  17. Inning of the year for Riske. Let's do this!
