  3. Having some trouble scoring using usual outlets. If you've got please let me know thru pm or on this thread Willing to meet you almost anywhere tonight also rich people don't write checks; so this will be straight cash homie Thanks
  4. 262-679-3612 http://milwaukee.brewers....ing/fantasy_camp_form.jsp maybe this is no help I think it is car soup email the booth but I find nothing on car soup web site or fsn WI site.
  5. Every time I see Eric Young on bbtn I think of the time my friends and I saw him at Victor's. We said hi and that was it. The periphials were more exciting than seeing EY.
  6. if lcbj68c reports it I believe it. I was only pointing out that an earlier story made it sound like there was no chance. I believe the astros are gonna be bent about this. All you dweebs who think it's a "right" to boo; get out there this weekend and for once have a negative impact on a team you want to lose.
  7. Front page of brewers.com sez miller park is "not an option" in an article Quote from article. "Initially, the first thing we heard was the Cubs wanted us to fly to Milwaukee to play," said Astros infielder Mark Loretta, a prominent member of the Players Association and a former Brewer. "We didn't think was a very good idea to try to evacuate our families and take off and leave them behind. That was quickly nixed." Besides, Loretta said, "Milwaukee's kind of a home game for them, isn't it?" Conflicting reports, no?
  8. When a griend of mine died, lots of people sent memorials "to the children of..."The poor family had to send the checks back and ask everyone to rewrite the checks with just the kids names Nice work banking jerks. Paypal sent!
  9. I never will understand how booing Eric was going to help us win. A dope in front of me was turned around waving for the crowd to boo louder(!!??); how pathetic. I want to WIN and so does he I'll bet. The problem isn't that he's a below average guy in a below average bullpen. The problem is the brewers are not scoring any runs so the margin of error is very small.
  10. should have warned you; UW sometimes tries to skip sedation for bone marrow biopsy. My dad was NOT impressed. When my Dad's biopsy came back negative my folks cried for like 2 hours. I might have shed a tear or two as well. What great news for you. Continued best wishes
  11. union grove's up against the building tennis courts were difficult for me to adjust to. At least thats how I explain my terrible matches there. As far as famous waterford grads: Kurt Douer(sp?) punted for the Oregon Ducks at least one year, and everyone who knows me knows who I am.
  12. Because it feels like Rickie is too aggressive so he must be. you darn stat guys and the evil dr. stat are ruining baseball with your facts and figures. I can name a BUNCH of times Rickie swung at pitches too early in the count so I know he's bad at the patience
  13. Trains also haul huge amounts of grain and animal feed. A semi hauling grain holds roughly 1,000 bushels. It's my understanding a grain rail car holds 10,000 bushels.Agriculture is VERY dependant on trains.
  14. Lois walks in on drunken peter and Brian. Lois: Peter it's 7:00 in the morning! Peter: Thanks for the update Big Ben. next line same scene Lois: If you don't stop acting this way something terrible is gonna happen. Peter: Something terrible all the way to the bank. Brian: Nice. Two most quoted lines around the farm. edited because I type poorly
  15. I think he makes up for his shody fundamentals by holding the tag on guys for like 5 seconds or tagging them 6 or 7 times. I especially like the multi-tag when the ump signals safe for each tag. I read an article a year or so back in which Prince said he really wanted to get better at defense. It doesn't appear that he was really committed to this. He's never gonna win the gold glove but it would be nice to see more effort at times.
  16. My dad had trouble with dehydration and found gatoraide helpful. I would check with your doctor about any multivitiamins, they discountiued my dads at one point. I would strongly recommend skipping the blueberry carrots and kale when you are nuetropenic. Unless it is pasturized you DON'T want it during times of low immuno response. A close friend of mine had a terrible time in Zion so maybe it's a blessing in disguise. Good Luck and I hope I can help at any point
  17. She was on am540 yesterday guest hosting Homer's show. During her interview with One of the new players, I forget which but he was a point guard, She interduced herself as the bucks pregame, sideline, postgame reporter. You get your wish Mr QL.
  18. My dad is currently taking treatment for non-hodgkin's lymphoma. Called Mantle cell lymphoma(MCL). There are lots of nonhodgkins and its one of the more rare ones. He's in a research trial at UW hospital in madison. 25% of his bone marrow was "involved" in Feb when he was diagnosed. Bone marrow biopsy last week shows NO mutated b cells and he is in remission. I read alot of info on the lukemia lymphoma society's web site. They have a forum for almost every type of lymphoma out there. The treatments were easy for my dad(59yrs.) at first but got worse and worse. He took four types of chemo(abreviated drug names vcr-cvad) for four days straight while in the hospital, then went home for 17 days and then started again for six total cycles. By the sixth round he was basically bed ridden for two weeks, and spent 6 extra days in the hospital with pnuemonia. That was 4 weeks ago and today he is at work on the farm with me. He's hauling manure and feeding cows just like nothing happened. If I'm lucky he'll go home after a 12 hr day today. He says he feels better than he has felt in at least a year. Part of his trial is to continue one drug called rituxan long term. This is called mantance therapy and he is handleing it very well. The mantance therapy is to avoid a stem cell transplant. They are VERY hard on people his age and show no better results on MCL than chemo without mantance. SO hopefully mantance will extend the remission even more. Depending on your location in the state I would suggest UW-Madison(where my dad is treated by Dr. Longo) or Gunderson Luthern at LaCrosse(where my sister and brother in law are doctors). I have personal expierance at TOO MANY cancer centers and these two IN MY OPINION are head and shoulders above the others. Not to say there aren't others that are also very good. They gave my dad 50% chance of three years when diagnosed and he is in first remission just eight months later. So there is hope and treatments have come a long way. Two books that helped my Dad and our family are The Anatomy of Hope by Jerome Groopman, M.D. The Last Lecture By Randy Pausch Every one who offers thier prayers and thoughts I thank because it can't possibly hurt, and now I offer my thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
  19. I acutally spell my name Stew, but brewcrewstew sounds like something you'd order on the club level. I am racingfarmer anywhere else although I don't post anywhere else anymore.
  20. This sentence is right up there with "dude my grandma drank all my pot" on the strange-o-meter. Everyday(minus today and Friday) for about a week I've gone to centsports.com and 2lined the brewers and the over. The over loses and the brewers win every time. The twice I didn't do it brewers lose. I think I know what I'm doing tomorrow on my lunch. This morning at the farm my dad and I looked at an empty calving pen and decided we'd get to watch a good chunk of the game because nothing was happening in there, and our other chores could wait until after the game. 11:00 rolls around and(to my dismay) FOUR cows start calving. This leads to me pulling and feeding calves until well after the game is over. Thank God for small favors. Running a sod farm is a bear. I knew a sod farm family years ago. It's lots of work and your really at the mercy of the market. Spell check doesn't like that I spell until with 2 l's everytime. I've done it forever and just can't stop.
  21. My brother has a Karek and it's just OK. We liked wolter bros. when shopping for his house. They are really nice and I know a carpenter that works with them and he sez they are great to work for. We saw three of their houses and liked them all. The only reason he didn't use them was he found a finished house that he liked in his price range. My folks built a house with 3d construction out of burlington and are really pleased with it. It is a very nice 2700 ft ranch w\ exposed basement. But Scott and his crew are open to about anything I think. They are custom builders so you can make any plan you want and they will draw anything up on their CAD for you. Also they have crews of their own that do most of the work. These guys really care about you and won't call your questions "stupid". I think I would have a big problem building with someone who didn't want me to look in the "kitchen". It's your hundreds of thousands and you need to live there, possible for a long time. The carpenter will never be back. So find somebody who cares. During my parents build we had a great relationship will all the craftsmen and saw them everyday. It doesn't hurt if your carrying some donuts or a big thermos of coffee(we built in feb.) If I had someone who didn't want me there I wouldn't want them there. We built a one of a kind house and made changes as we went because of what we saw and what craftsmen suggested. The house is better for it. Good Luck whatever you decide.
  22. darron and grace make me like bill and brian even more. MLB game or Whacky minor legue promo night. YOU be the judge!
