  1. Not sure where that missed--- it was inside BILL.
  2. I thought they cut down the runner at home Not third-- Bill.
  3. Ned wants this one tonight-- Dah, shouldn't he want every game?????
  4. I also would suggest the Loge level in front of the pressbox for a cool spot.
  5. at Atlanta (and the Brewers went 2-1 there) and at St. Louis were the only 2 places I thought the Brewers would stumble this month. I had Brewers 1-3 there, but it would be really, really nice for them to go 3-1 or sweep the Cards. 2-2 would be expected. Right now the Brewers are 1/2 way (9-5) to my pick of going 18-10 for month of July.
  6. I had the Brewers sweeping the Nationals.
  7. Another career first today--wrong side.
  8. I can understand the tailgating and being in the lot so you come into the game an inning or two late. But I really think it is more that people fail to plan for a big crowd rather than working or family matters. Too many times they just think if we leave at 4, we should get their at 5 and walk right in 20 minutes later. Wrong!! Traffic was backup before 4pm yesterday. To see people still on the highway at almost 7pm is unreal. I am just so happy that I never get in those jams because of years of knowledge going to Brewer games--- and knowing where to go to avoid all the delays and nonsense. It is always, park for free and 15 minute walk to the game.
  9. Two things to wonder about the Brewers as I get back from the game--- Why is it, it seems the better the opposing pitcher the better the Brewers play? We all feared Holladay of Toronto, Zambo and Rusch for the Cubs. Yet if a guy is a noname or has a 9.02 ERA the Brewers make those guys look like Cy Young. As an opposing team I would call up 3 AA guys and start them against the Brewers. Why do fans come to the game and not get to games on time? As I sat in my seat at the start of the game I could see thousands of fans still stuck on the highway looking for a place to park. By the time some fans got to the game it must have been the 5th inning as I noticed 100's still making their way to the park after 7pm. Come early and enjoy the day. Just because the game starts at 6pm doesn't mean you can just pull right in at 5:59 and get to your seat at 6:02. What a great game to attend tonight. Always like to attend the games vs. the Twins and their fans, as opposed the games with the Cubs and their fans.
  10. Don't people think it is really tough for a "closer" to pitch every 11 days as a "closer". The last time DT came into close a game was June 7th. Really tough to stay sharp without work. You will notice this is the same thing that happened to Kolb after the All-Star break last year. He went about a week without pitching and he lost it.
  11. 1-8 in the last 9 games in Philadelphia. With another trip to Philadelphia in the start of August.
  12. I will be attending the game tonight. Attended the first 2 and what great games they were. Just the ending most baseball fans would like with a player like Jeter at the plate with the game in the balance. I really can say that trading away Cirillo was one of the poorer moves the Brewers made in their past.
  13. 2 down, 4 to go for the crew. I said the Brewers would go 1-6 out west.
  14. Amazing-- Jenkins can hit the ball..
  15. I can't wait to see Big Swing Jenkins face him. That should be worth staying up.
  16. Since there is no Non-Brewers thread for today--- Cubs and Dodgers are 2-1 in the 10th in favor of the Cubs.
  17. That just sums up the Brewers-- a strikeout on Greene and he is now standing on 2nd because of BAD baseball by the Brew Crew.
  18. Are the Brewers afraid that someone like McGruder might do well if given a chance for the 8 Million Dollar baby in right field. Jenkins you are a loser.
