  1. Joe Morgan is the same guy who continued to diss Ryne Sandberg and continued to boast himself as "the only 2nd baseman who belongs in the Hall of Fame." I used to watch the Cubs prior to the Brewers switch to the NL, and I think Sandberg probably had better numbers than Morgan. Only difference was Morgan had the rings.
  2. Lohan is like the reverse Oprah Winfrey, like the old SNL skit where someone says, "She's fat, she's thin, she's fat, she's thin, just pick a body and stick with it." But for Lohan, it is, "She's anorexic, she's normal, she's anorexic, she's normal, just pick a body and stick with it." And you actually saw Mean Girls for Lohan? I watched it for Lacey Chabert. And Lohan sometimes looks plain nasty. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19933610/displaymode/1107/s/2/framenumber/1/
  3. The Racine Journal-Times actually, for the first time in God knows how long, put together a quality piece on our beloved rookie Ryan Braun. The Journal-Times always puts in AP wire stories about Brewer games, but one thing that interests me is that Braun likes to go Lake Geneva to be on the water. Maybe someone should head out there to Geneva when the Crew has a day off. He also prefers Taco Bell? He still has "college student" written all over him.
  4. Well, for the entertainment enthusiasts out there... and for fathers of teen daughters, this is something you could feast your eyes on. The latest arrest of Lindsay Lohan Tuesday morning after being caught with cocaine and suspicion of DUI, like her third or something. Lohan keeps getting into trouble What is mostly hilarious is that Lohan was due to be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno Tuesday night and now they got Rob Schneider as Lohan.
  5. When I had my internship at a newspaper, we had all had to share the fridge in our company lounge and what annoys me are the kind of people that bring a huge lunchbox worth of food, leaving little space for me to put my stuff in the fridge because it takes up the whole fridge. I also hate when people leave stuff in the fridge for like 3 weeks and don't even touch it. Every time I opened the fridge, I saw the same annoying TV dinner for 3 weeks until the custodians got tired of it and ordered everyone to take their stuff home for a weekend. I also hate when people stuff their faces as the are typing on their computer, shoving their fingers in their mouth and then continuing to type on the keyboard. It made me wonder if the specific two ever contracted any sicknesses from that. One other concern I have is when I am in the bathroom, one of my bosses (who shall remain nameless) used the bathroom urinal right next to me and then didn't even wash his hands as he left. It sickened me because he started shaking people's hands in the lobby.

  7. TBow lit up in more ways than one on that shot.
  8. This was mentioned in the trade rumor thread and I just thought I would get everyone's thoughts on this. Jenkins is 33 years old and saying that he hasn't reached his full potential when he was once a rookie is like getting into a time machine and going back to 2000. But I just have this feeling that Jenkins will not be part of the team's plans next season. Why has Jenkins never had the kind of season scouts once projected him to have when he was in the minors? This all my be old news, but Jenkins' age tells us that he could be headed to another team or relegated to pinch hit duty within the next couple years.
  9. Peavey makes a good point. I am just not sold on Jenkins anymore as even a productive player. Why do I anticipate that Jenkins will be out of Milwaukee by the beginning of Opening Day 2008?
  10. Well, the Brewers offense is in shambles. Jenkins is beginning to struggle, Estrada just won't stop hitting weak grounders and our offense has just plain struggled lately. Douggy M, time to make something happen or shake something up.
  11. If this deal is true, the Pirates just gave the Cubs another pennant like they did with the Aramis Ramirez/Lofton deal a couple years ago. Do the Cubs have bad pictures of their GM or something?
  12. With the stretch of 8 games in 7 days, you think Yost will go with a 6 man rotation to save some arms? We got enough starters. Bush, Capuano, Vargas, Parra, Gallardo, Suppan
  13. I Hilarious. This couldn't be anymore true that what you said. I actually wonder if Yost says things like this to every guy who decides to tank plays or tank base running situations.
  14. Maybe Yost should think about putting the newly hot Rickie Weeks in the five hole and bat Estrada eighth.
  15. This has got to be the most bizarre extra inning contest I have ever seen.
  16. Brewers 11th: Three free passes to 1st (one on deliberate attempt to get hit by pitch), including an error and walk that could have been a strikeout. Then Estrada completely blows up the rally by lackadaisically running to 1st like both of his knees don't work. Damian Miller would have run that out, and I am not even a fan of Miller.
  17. Jenks pulls a Fernando Vina and takes first base and now the manager of the Reds is pissed. We got three gifts this inning and we still can't score a run.
  18. My fricken goodness, Estrada screws things up again. I just want to yell at him once again. It is bad enough he ends up grounding out with the bases loaded, but is so slow they were able to get him out patiently.
  19. Thanks for the free out, Pedro Lopez. Now lets make them pay! Weathers' runs will all go unearned now.
  20. Uh oh... Stormy Weathers on the mound. You think we should celebrate if we light him up or feel bad for the guy who once gave us some quality innings? I would go for the celebration.
  21. To the 11th we go... lets get to the bullpen Crew!
  22. TBow sits Dunn down. Wow, amazing! Two more outs to go and then we can get base runners on and kill yet another rally with our tremendous clutch hitting.
  23. Why do I get the sudden urge to yell at the TV screen after Estrada sorry excuse for a ground ball. Johnny Estrada's clutch hitting is about as reliable as a piece of two-ply toilet paper sucking up the Mississippi River.
  24. Way to go Estrada. What a team player he is. Now I know why Yost bats him fifth.
  25. Like I said before, the Milwaukee Bonecrushers name is about as generic as "frooty treats" cereal. Give the nickname some Milwaukee taste, like the Milwaukee Suds, Milwaukee Cream Citys, Milwaukee Industrialists, etc. By the way, the team has an official website now @ www.milwaukeebonecrushers.com
