    What's he supposed to say?
  2. Roscoe Chill
Well yeah, he's going to approve a trade. But to Milwaukee? I just don't see it.

Cano is better than Weeks. Potential? Who knows. Right now Cano is better than Weeks. Still, that's a ridiculous trade from the Brewers perspective.

Sorry guys, would I trade Hall for ARod? Sure. Will ARod approve a trade to the Brewers? No.
  5. Roscoe Chill
    No trade clause.

Well the showed a close up of 'Vito' from The Sopranos last night, not sure if it was intentional or not, I'm kind of surprised Joe Buck didn't recognize him.

I got Minnesota Twins talk from the Minnesota State Fair.

I was in the chat when he typed that...I'd just like to say nice work on the speed in which he was dismissed, he was gone in a matter of minutes.

While I'm not going to go as far as to say this is a "must win game", this is the kind of game the Brewers really should win, and have to win if they are going to be a contender versus a pretender. I didn't expect a win last night in the Jackson-Zambrano matchup, but I expect one here today.

For what it's worth, according to JSOnline it was his right arm.

It's even funnier because you didn't spell Mientkievicz right. And the laughter goes on: Mientkiewicz http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

So, are you arguing with yourself about Chris Capuano or what?

Is the Cardinals plan to put out one of the worst lineups in baseball and still kill the Brewers? They do it all the time against them, and tonight is no different....Scott Rolen and a bunch of crap. Hopefully the outcome is. De La Rosa has another opportunity to solidify himself, hope he takes advantage of it.

I think the GM makes the personnel decisions as far as who is on the team guys. As far as who plays with the 25 man roster, now that's Ned's decision.
  15. Roscoe Chill
Ah, I did not know that.

How come Ben Oglivie is speaking broken English? Is he not from the United States?
  17. Roscoe Chill
Because Ned Yost isn't a good manager, and never has been.

Is it safe to say Ben Hendrickson doesn't have a future with the Brewers?
  19. Roscoe Chill
    He's definitely a terrible baserunner.

I'm thinking that Santos is going to pull off one of those games where you can't fault him for anything tomorrow, but come up short. Actually I think it would be better for him to bomb and have the team move in another direction.

Getpaddled, dude, you need to try marijuana.

Tony Mandarich was indeed a no-brainer...unless the Cowboys took him and then Troy Aikman was a no- brainer. Anyone who uses the hindsight argument on Deion Sanders, Barry Sanders, or Derrick Thomas doesn't remember how dominant of a player Mandarich was. It backfired. But you can't blame the Packers like they drafted Sam Bowie instead of Michael Jordan.

    Overbay is great!!!

Bad fielder, but could play SS? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Each game Capuano comes out and pitches well, I get closer to being won over on him....and subsequently view the Sexson trade more positively. I have a feeling he will pitch another great game. And for the record, Brady Clark officially won me over last night, when he showed that he's got a little fire to him with the umpire's bad call.
