    Given up on Brick so quickly Robert? At least that was a crime caper that not only had a tangible plot, but had originality to boot. Thankfully that's just one of dozens of movies that were better then The Departed this year.

    The plot holes were massive in the third act. It was sloppy story telling plain and simple. Toss in the at times over-the-top acting and I can't see The Departed aging well at all. I predict in a decade it will be declared Scorsese's camp "classic".

    Target has released Wii Play a few days early for those looking to grab one. Unfortunately I pre-ordered from Toys R Us so I have to wait till tomorrow to grab my copy. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

    While his mother is certianly no medical expert, in going back through the posts I'm unsure how Prometheus inaccurately reported anything. You mean like on 1/12 when he claimed that Mark was in Maine the evening of his surgery, which took place in Texas? There are plenty of good questions to be asked on what is going on with Mark, his health, and just what was done during his surgery, but the aggressive, and condescending tone he is using is inexcusable when you are talking about some poor kid's professional future, health, and his family's right to keep to themselves if they feel their frankness is being abused.

    Couldn't seem to find the article that stated "chronic bursitis" but then I'm not a medical student and was not there. You couldn't find it because she never said it. At least not in the article he references. Of course, that's not the first bit of disinformation he's disseminated.

    Biel wasn't royalty in the film, but she was a noble of some sort. Small difference, but there is a difference.

    Fox took it's own share of lumps in the movie as well. I'm sure that didn't please upper management much.

    Doing a quick check Animal Crossing, Bomberman Land, Dragon Quest Swords, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Harvest Moon, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl should all come out during the next year. Several of them within the next month or so. Their also is already a sequel to LoZ: Twilight Princess that is well into developement and Wii Music looks like a heck of a lot of fun in the spirit of Wii Play and Wii Sports.

    Did anyone get a system today who wanted one? It sounds like there're supposed to be enough available now for people to get one off the shelves from this point forward. The Cities once again were wiped out before stores opened. But this time I had the forthright and constitution to stand out side in a snow storm at 6am at Best Buy. I'd also like to state that my parents were in town from Iowa, meaning they drove 5 hours to see me while I spent the entire morning standing outside like an idiot. But I got a Wii.

    Rayman is an alright game, but not my cup of tea. It's essentially about 75 mini games that you play in a non-specific order to help Rayman escape from being captured. I'd classify it as more of a renter.

    If we can find the reference to Brewerfan in the printed copy of Baseball Prospectus we will meet the notability criteria guideline, which is the reason continually given for the reference being deleted. If someone has it they simply need to note the publishing year and probably a page number. Any specific dates of when Brewerfan is talked about on the radio would be helpful as well. Also, as much as they may not like it, we may need to list off the relevant baseball people that use this site. Most of them have been pretty open about who they are or what they do, but I'm sure some would prefer us to keep as quiet as possible. It might also be nice to go thru varius BA chats and the like where Patrick and Mass pepper them with questions. Brewerfan usually gets at least a mention during those, plus I know we've had a few excellent recommendations come out of them as well. Those all would help with establishing our notability.

    You should mention Patrick being added as an expert to other sites as a result of working for Brewerfan.

    Sure, unless we read Mark's weekly diary he wrote last year, or listen to the things Thunnis has said, who is an insider, or read the countless other articles written about Rogers. I still have yet to read a single post by Thunnis where he has ever come close to stating Mark has "resisted" changing his delivery, let alone being uncoachable. In fact, he's only continually added weight that Mark did everything he was ased to do, yet still had problems anyways. Putting all of the blame onto Mark seems rather pointless, as we simply don't know everything involved. Reading an online diary or hearing the occasional insider information doesn't paint a complete picture, especially when it runs counter to what you are stating as fact.
