  1. Article in The Athletic: https://theathletic.com/4759133/2023/08/09/college-football-realignment-schultz/
  2. UW doesn't have as big a potential travel issue as Rutgers, Penn St, Maryland, USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Washington might.
  3. Boeve in the lineup for the T-rats tonight.
  4. Ah High Heat... "There's an 80% chance that a thing will happen but that could change..." <thing doesn't happen> "Source is telling me things fell apart at the last minute"
  5. I like that this is thrown in there :)
  6. Yes thanks. I would like to know what it is they don't like about his game.
  7. I guess I need to rephrase... what was the reasoning behind not calling him up?
  8. I'm sure the club has talked about Hiura at length. I would love to know their reasoning for keeping him in AAA.
  9. Just pay them a salary and don't make them go to class. Why put up the charade at this point?
  10. It was questionable that he would hit for power not that he wouldn't hit at all.
  11. I didn't want to muddy the UW Football thread with this:
  12. I was more referring to his "bottom of the order" comment. Turang has 12 steals which isn't all that bad.
  13. Remains to be seen. I would have liked that trade for the Brewers depending on what they gave up. I actually suggested it in the trade/rumors threads. But he was only the best position player traded because it was a weak trade market for hitters. He had an 823 OPS - nice player, would have improved the Brewers lineup but let's not make him out to be something more than he is. And had the Brewers traded for him, I guarantee people would have wanted additional moves. He wasn't the missing piece.
  14. If Candelaria averages 4 hits a game the rest of the year I will regret not trading for him.
  15. Kind of hard to steal when you are barely getting on base to begin with.
  16. Welcome to the board!
  17. Blalock having a pretty nice year after missing 2022 due to TJ surgery.
  18. So Quero and Black to AAA?
  19. Pretty much, Hiura from 2019:
  20. On the occasions that he makes contact, he hits it hard:
  21. If they retooled for 2024 you'd probably complain too....like you did last year when they traded Hader.
