  1. Stop bringing up the Stearns/Mets thing in every single thread. It's annoying.
  2. Acuna is the one I think of but he also started his age 19 season in A+ ball before getting promoted.
  3. Any Northwestern recruits worth flipping? Any transfers worth pursuing?
  4. Craig...if you're reading this you are my favorite draft pick of all time.
  5. Sounds like Pratt will cost some money to get him to skip college.
  6. "This guy's dead!" "Well cross him off the list."
  7. He's a year and a half older than Chourio so I'll still give Jackson the edge.
  8. Boeve played well in the Cape Cod League which is much better competition than the Summit But where Boeve caught the eye of pro scouts was his standout summer seasons in the Northwoods League in 2021 and the Cape Cod League last year.
  9. kind of funny how different the scouting reports get as you move through the draft The MLB blurb on Boeve says he hits a lot of weak grounders. But I've seen two other ones that say he sprays line drives all over the field.
  10. yup. that offense might be scary good for the next 4 years. need some arms.
  11. Hiura is striking out less. I'll give him that. He's got a K% of 23.8 in AAA this year as opposed to 33.4% he had in 2021.
  12. Man if Adames could get back to average that would be a big boost.
  13. It's way too early to say one way or the other.
  14. 4 star RB committed today.
  15. I think we are veering off-topic. Let's get back to investing. Thanks.
  16. After today's game: Yelich 2023 287/381/459/840 Yelich Career 287/377/465/842
  17. Like grants. I have worked at a not for profit for a while. I chose to refinance my grad school loans with a private bank instead of going for the 10 years precisely because I didn't trust the promises made would be good in ten years time.
