  1. I rented this last weekend. Fantastic movie.
  2. My wife is a fan of the How Did This Get Made podcast where they watch and recap awful movies. We bought tix to the live taping of the show in Chicago and Morbius with Jared Leto is the film du jour. We watched Morbius last night. Do not watch Morbius.
  3. If Rodgers can at least catch the ball with his hands in the right place I'll consider it a quantum leap improvement.
  4. Usually there isn't much to glean from pre-season game #1 but missing easy throws in the flat has to be concerning. I didn't get a chance to watch the game, only select plays, so this is coming from the post-game reports I've read - sounds like Love is much better but still not great. He might not even be good at this point. I get the sense people are squinting and trying to see a good QB. I'll be interested to see how he does the rest of the pre-season.
  5. Oof. Trying to come back from the injury quicker?
  6. Yeah it is kind of infuriating to run without motions or shifts in this day and age.
  7. It's year over year comparison. So July 2022 to July 2021 +8.5% compared to June 22 to June 21 +9.1%. The stock market was reacting to the difference from one month to the next so May - June was bad, June - July was good. It is weird sometimes how the market reacts to economic news. There are days I think it will tank on some kind of big story and the market just says "meh".
  8. I wonder what the difference has been for Turang? His walk rate skyrocketed in July. Maybe he's not swinging out of the zone as much?
  9. recency bias is forcing me to consider putting Avina in my top 10.
  10. It's been real Jackson, but Jace Avina is my new #1 prospect. ?
  11. Given the earlier "debate" about Ruiz's standing in the prospect pecking order, this seems like a decent place to put this:
  12. I haven't been this jazzed about our top 8 - 10 since Braun, Fielder, Weeks, Hart, Hardy era
  13. 01 Jackson Chourio 02 Sal Frelick 03 Joey Wiemer 04 Brice Turang 05 Garrett Mitchell 06 Esteury Ruiz 07 Tyler Black 08 Robert Gasser 09 Ethan Small 10 Jeferson Quero 11 Eric Brown Jr. 12 Jacob Misiorowski 13 Felix Valerio 14 Hendry Mendez 15 Eduardo Garcia 16 Hedbert Perez 17 Mario Feliciano 18 Jace Avina 19 Carlos Rodriguez (P) 20 Cam Devanney
  14. If you're just starting out you may want to subscribe to something like Kiplinger's. Or check out AAII.
  15. I have scratched a new bald spot on my noggin.
  16. - So Doubs is not just a flash in the pan pre-pads. Hopefully he keeps it up. - Love is looking much better too. Proof will be when he gets snaps in pre-season games.
