  1. Man I would not want to mess with Ernesto. He is a big dude.
  2. Geoff Jenkins 30th birthday in St. Louis. Made it through an inning I think before getting pulled. https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/SLN/SLN200407210.shtml
  3. The Heading for that graph is: What Team Do Cubs Fans Dislike The Most? I guessed that the Astros dislike has something to do with the whole cheating scandal that engulfed the Astros before the 2020 season, but maybe I'm wrong... Poll was in 2020 so you are probably right
  4. Free Garrett Mitchell
  5. I have a feeling Jrue is going to start making Kyrie look silly in the 2nd half.
  6. We traded the two guys that would normally pitch there. But the guy we got in return was the reason we had the lead. What does this all mean? Time is a flat circle.
  7. I'm glad he scored but why was his lead like a foot off of third base? A good throw would have gotten him.
  8. I don't know about this Udder Tuggers thing. Too close to the TLC Tugger for my taste.
  9. I have the original and I am willing to sell it at a steep discount. Let's say....$1000?
  10. I can't be the only one that remembers him taste testing different brands of dog food on Late Nite with David Letterman. Yup and if you're really old or know TV and radio history you will remember his dad Bob who was in the Bob and Ray comedy duo.
  11. Perhaps if the price was cheap enough, but he's been a guy who is seemingly perpetually available every year, and Stearns hasn't bit so far, despite an obvious fit. Something in the back of my mind is telling me that Stearns isn't a fan. Of course, this is 100% speculation. But he's the type of guy that if Stearns really liked him, he probably would be (or would have already been) a Brewer. Yeah maybe he wants to swing for guys that still have upside? If that's the case then Boston's Michael Chavis might be appealing. He's in AAA now but can play multiple positions. Former top 100 prospect. Might need a change of scenery. He's a big K guy so maybe it wouldn't work out and I'm not advocating they get him but he might be a guy Stearns' targets.
  12. The Brewers are 10 - 3 since the Adames trade. Luis Urias has an 864 OPS since the Adames trade. Coincidence? Probably
  13. I don’t think a single person has argued against that at all. Someone was trying to claim the Cubs don’t care about the Brewers at all. I think that’s pretty much impossible after they got whacked, at home, in front of a large contingency of Brewer fans in a Game 163. Even the post trying to prove the Cubs fans don’t consider the Brewers a rival because only 7% think the Brewers are their BIGGEST rival. That’s biggest. If 7% think that then I bet a good chunk of the rest still consider the Brewers a big rival. Good thing someone has already polled Cubs' fans so we can stop with the conjecture. Everyone feel free to interpret these results in whatever way necessary in order to justify your own argument: https://www.bleedcubbieblue.com/2020/7/11/21320275/cubs-mlb-rivalries-cardinals-brewers-sb-nation-reacts
