  1. Maybe Rodgers' absence from OTAs which he has always attended has nothing to do with the huge rift between Rodgers and the organization which has been hinted at since January and became huge news for the last month plus - that is some next level optimism. :) Well done, sir. He hinted at skipping OTAs a while back. A bunch of guys around the league are skipping them. NFLPA wants them all virtual.
  2. EXACTLY! I look at it a little differently. They are putting money out into the economy by buying something that someone else is selling. The seller can then use that money to buy other things.
  3. The guy might be a jerk and a selfish weirdo but they are probably 8 - 8 without him this year with the current roster. He doesn't seem to be a cancer in the locker room either. Having said that I don't think people would be all that upset if they traded him.
  4. Add "aggressively taking off shirt" to list of weird baseball injuries (most of which probably happened some other way):
  5. Bucks defense has been legit the last two games. Miami's not an offensive juggernaut but they look completely lost so far.
  6. If there isn't any truth to his issues it he would have reported rather than relaxing and doing karaoke in Hawaii. https://www.barstoolsports.com/blog/3365639/aaron-rodgers-skipped-packers-otas-to-dance-and-do-karaoke-in-hawaii-with-shailene-woodley-and-miles-teller-and-in-no-way-was-it-awkward I do agree, it'd be nice if he had the stones to just say what was bothering him and make it official. He wasn't gonna report no matter what but I don't think that has to do with the rift with GB's front office.
  7. That crowd was nuts and not in a good way. Since when do they allow people on the fairway as the golfer is approaching the green? He looked like Danny Noonan in Caddyshack.
  8. MassHaas called it this morning on Twitter.
  9. I am looooong on Ethereum so a dip/correction doesn't bother me. I'm dollar cost averaging due to the volatility. At most I expect to ultimately have about 3% of my investments in crypto.
  10. Hiura is really raking but it would be REALLY nice to see his K rate down below 30%. I'd be more comfortable predicting success at the major league level if he did that.
  11. I went out for my first group dinner in over a year this weekend. It felt great. Was a little weird wandering around without a mask but that's to be expected I suppose.
  12. The other thing to note is that the vaccine isn't a forcefield. The virus still gets inside your body. You would know better than me but it's possible there's a very small window of time after you are exposed and before your antibodies kick in that you are technically "contagious" which would lead to the aforementioned rare instances that it gets passed along to someone else.
  13. Other guys don't seem to have too much trouble hitting lately. I mean hell, this Reds team gave up 19 yesterday. Somebody's hitting the ball hard. I think there's a difference between hitting it hard and hitting it out. I would be curious to see average exit velocities year by year though. Maybe it's down this year?
  14. Reds used 6 guys from their 'pen yesterday. Be nice to chase this Hoffman clown early. edit: guess it was 5 and an infielder edit: guess it was 4 and two infielders edit: go brewers
  15. Arnold came from Tampa so knows quite a bit about Adames presumably.
  16. I meant 11 ks in 27 at bats in his time at Nashville. 41%. Yes, not ideal.
  17. 1 K per 4 ABs is fine. if he can get his K rate under 30% and hit like he can hit he would be a stud
  18. Lauer with 12Ks through 5 IP
