Yes the coaching could be better at times but how many of the Badgers starters would start for OSU? Maybe 2 or three? Proving my earlier point, more than you realize. "I actually don't even think the talent gap is as massive as it's made out to be." But you said there wasn't a massive talent gap.

Ohio State had 7 guys taken in the first 4 rounds last year. If you don't think there's a talent gap then NFL scouts disagree.

Everything has to fall their way. Notably injuries and schedule. It's part of the reason I don't get too emotionally invested in Badger football - not nearly to the extent of Packer football. I realize what a massive disadvantage they're at and understand that it's highly likely I'll never see a Badger championship in my lifetime. I'm happy with where they are at as a program.

Nope, I’m all for playing Mertz at this point. Really nothing to lose trying it. If he takes it and runs, great. If it looks like he’s not ready still just his 3rd game and red shirt still in tact. JT23 not here next year, take a chance now. I don't see how Bringing in Mertz against this defense helps him at all.

I would only be concerned if I thought the Bucks weren't doing what it took to keep him. I dont see that as the case. If he leaves anyway there's not much in the way of regrets.

Just came out that he was misquoted, which is pretty much what I expected. Much ado about absolutely nothing. He says he was misquoted. Apparently the convo was recorded so should be able to clear it up.

I used to go to Vegas like five times a year when I lived in Arizona. It's changed a bit since then but generally speaking... - if you are in a big hotel the food at the restaurants is almost always good. We are at The Mirage which is an MGM hotel and every place has been amazing (the bar food place was ok). - if you are at an MGM property download their app and check in that way. Potentially saves a ton of time when you arrive. I assume the other big chains have something similar. - get a players card (like a points rewards card) at the place you are staying as soon as you arrive...or before if that's possible and show it every time you spend money (food, shows, check in, gambling). If you spend enough they might comp you a meal or something. I feel like comps are hard to come by on a single trip but you never know.
