    I think that is mostly an opinion, not fact... I am for the nets, however, if you are sitting in an area without a net, that is your decision. There is risk involved, and if you are not smart enough to realize that as a fan, and you sit in those areas, there is always a chance to get nailed. It's the idiots that take kids and babies to games and sit in screaming foul ball territory that bug me. I get used to the nets during games, so it isn't a factor for me, but I don't think we can say that the nets won't impact anyone's enjoyment of the game, because there are obviously people that it will. At what point did I say it was a fact? It's obviously an opinion. Given how much closer the stands are to the fields than years ago, there are many more seats/sections that are in screaming foul ball territory. Personal responsibility is fine and dandy but when baseball teams are actively stimulating everyone with scoreboards, light shows, videos, etc.that distract you from the game it is incumbent upon them to provide enough safety to ensure fans don't get drilled. And the flip side to your argument is if you don't want netting in front of you, sit somewhere else.

    Even the old timers who put on their headsets and keep score don't pay attention 100% of the time.

    The most expensive seats in the house right now are behind the netting. This is a total non issue and won't impact anyone's enjoyment of the game

    Same poster has a history of telling everyone the Brewers aren't going to make the playoffs because of their run differential. So it's not one thing.
