Me warning one guy is not a reason to jump in and get the last word. You guys were asked to move on from this topic and have not. See you tomorrow.

He probably falls into that 2-3 year deal for 6-8 million per year bucket doesn't he? Sample is small, but just look at the stuff. He's definitely worked his way into pitching the very back end of games for this team. You could easily argue he's our 2nd best reliever. He might be willing to take a 1 year "prove it all year" deal betting that he can do better next offseason. Market is weird these days so who knows.

Since Lyles became a Brewer again: Lyles 38.2 IP 2.56 ERA Greinke 42.1 IP 3.83 ERA

Take it easy, guys.

Four games against the Cubs...pretty much determines the season. -
Astros haven't intentionally walked anyone all season, per Tom H.

Counsell's itchy trigger finger 3rd time through the order. Man Lyles has been good. He's the reason this team still has any kind of postseason hope, however minute it is. Yeah he's been amazing.

When Spangenberg was a kid I wonder if the other kids called him Spank 'n Burp?

Keeanu Benton might be the most physically impressive and imposing true freshman I've ever seen. Legit 6'4", 315, and it's in the legs, upper body, and arms, not a big gut. A true freshman, and he's already a dude. He is enormous. Jim Leonard had some really good things to say about him after the South Florida game. They really need some help on that D Line. Hope he keeps it up.

Sternberger put on IR. Lazard promoted from PS to 53 man.

Thank you! We don't do a lot of red meat but that shawarma looks awesome.

I use Car2Go in Chicago. It's kinda like the borrowed car idea above but without the autonomous car part of it. Mercedes owns it so if you don't want a little smart car you can pay a little extra and get a Mercedes CLA. We use it for really big grocery runs, trips to the suburbs, etc. Otherwise we use mass transit or walk. In a way, Uber and Lyft are already acting as the "borrowed car" but you are also borrowing the driver.

Well this is potentially it for Cole. Gotta take it to their pen.

Suter is up in the pen. I repeat, Suter is up in the pen.

3 games behind Cubs for second WC spot and four games left against them.

Verlander still complaining about the new baseballs?
-
Look for Cubs to cancel game due to rain if Chatwood throws too many pitches in the 1st.
