  1. If I happens for the Brewers I'm guessing it's one year.
  2. Agreed. I have a feeling he will never really get his due because he will probably never play for a contender. Crazy to think he might be the best player of all time and no one really talks about him all that much (relatively speaking). He could never play a game again and be HOF worthy. He already has like 65 WAR, 2 MVP Awards, 4 2nd place finishes that honestly should be MVP awards, AND IS 27. UNREAL. He almost has as much WAR as Miguel Cabrera and very well could pass up Derek Jeter THIS YEAR. You could almost say he was HOF worthy like two years ago. There was an argument to be made at least. Insane how good he is.

  4. Oregon relies a lot on getting turnovers. If UW can take care of the ball I think they win. Pac 12 is a joke of a conference so some of what Oregon has done recently might be a mirage.
  5. I feel like the Bucks have gotten worse since Mirotic arrived. He's been pretty awful IMO.
  6. Embiid is shooting 29% from three for the year. Why wouldn't you sag a bit and let him jack away? He was 4/13 today
  7. I think their spacing gets much better next year. At least it should in theory. Happ and Iverson can't shoot worth a lick so basically you can sag off those dudes and prevent any dribble penetration or back door cuts. Next year I believe everyone is threat from three so they should be able to move a little better under the hoop. They have a good three point shooting team believe it or not but they don't get opportunities to shoot very often. They feed Happ in the post and hope he gets close enough for a baby hook. Pretty sure he's one of the highest usage players in the nation. I think where they will really miss those guys is on the other end of the floor.
  8. Maybe he meant Tennessee?
  9. I think it's better to let a guy go a year early than a year too late. Kershaw, while good, is replaceable at this point through the draft.
  10. I don't know what scoring in your league is like but this may be the only chance you have to keep Vlad.
  11. I forgot the Browns signed Kareem Hunt. Jeez, they are a monster on paper now even with Hunt missing the first 8 games.
  12. We have two and a half years of meh and one year of awesome. I hope he does awesome again. If he doesn't I'll be ok with it. I also understand people aren't as optimistic as me.
  13. I think an outlier is defined by unexpected outcomes surrounded by the norm. If in 2018 he hadn't gotten hurt and then pitched like he did prior to 2017 then yes you can call 2017 an outlier. We don't know what it was because it could be that he figured something out and 2017 was going to be the norm going forward. He certainly had good K numbers in the minors so that wasn't totally out of the blue. He had a high BABIP but his FIP and xFIP were better than his era. Obviously, could all fall apart but I think it's ok for people to be a little optimistic. If he fails then people get a little disappointed and move on with their lives.
  14. Be interesting to see if those spots match up with their draft this year.
  15. I think Dorsey is tough to work with and he also had issues managing the cap in KC. He can evaluate talent with the best of them though. Might be one of those guys that can build a team up but can't keep them there because he doesn't know how to deal with the cap.
  16. Scherzer is nuts. 9 straight years of 190+ innings.
  17. I think you have to take some risks in fantasy if you want to win the whole thing. Without getting into our scoring system, that's why I'm keeping Sale. If he pitches the exact same number of innings as last year he's a top 15 pitcher. Or I hope he starts out great and then trade him mid-season. Severino is a different story. He's still got rotator cuff soreness after a whole off season. I would avoid him if possible.
  18. Is Chris Sale's arm going to fall off this year? I need to know by midnight tonight.
  19. Stop it guys or you're getting a timeout.
  20. Front line could be pretty good. Smith, Daniels, Clark, Smith - then Fackrell, Wilkerson (maybe).
  21. Yeah they could really use a slot receiver.
  22. I look forward to Bob McGinn hating every one of these signings.
  23. Could work this in there somehow.
  24. This is exactly how to utilize free agency - to plug holes. Now you can draft best player available.
  25. yes Amos deal is still much better value than Collins deal.
