  1. FF = fastball SL = slider CU = curve SwStr = swinging strikes BIP = balls in play Exit Velocity = how hard the ball was put in play I think the rest is self explanatory
  2. ...and I'm done. Haven't binge watched a show like that in a while. I really enjoyed it - surprised I didn't watch it earlier. Breaking Bad in Missouri.
  3. I just got into Ozark on Netflix. I was hooked halfway through episode 1.
  4. Payton Henry is on a really nice hot streak right now. Be nice to have a decent catching prospect.
  5. Just want to make this clear that if Eric Sogard stayed down in the minors until age 28 and was allowed to hit at Colorado Springs, I would absolutely guarantee he'd put up a .320/.400/.480 type line playing in Colorado Springs/PCL just as Orf has. I'm glad that this is the end of Sogard, and Orf could be a modest improvement...but I really hope people temper their expectations of the older prospect with no power hitting in BABIP utopia of Colorado Springs. Orf's road numbers are really good. He doesn't just hit at CS.
  6. I am probably the most forgiving person on this board when it comes to DFAing people but Sogard has to go.
  7. I was just looking at him. Plays all over the place in addition to hitting .370+ If Brewers do something about 2B he should be considered for a promotion. He's 25 already - gotta see what he can do. I'm not sure about MLB, but perhaps AAA. He is interesting... the wheels fell off last year in his first year at AA, but was 820 and 830 OPS the years previous. Plus, his OBP leads BA by 100 pts. Yeah I meant promote him to AAA assuming someone from there moves up to majors.

  9. Corbin Burnes is glad to be pitching outside of Colorado Springs. 7IP 0BB 13Ks today against a pretty good Oklahoma City team (21 - 6 before today)
  10. Segovia continues to rake. Three more hits today. 2nd highest average in midwest league.
  11. I think Hiura has played 3 games at 2nd base so far.
  12. Sounds like Vogel asked for his release and it was granted.
  13. Like I said earlier, he was league average on his throws until last year. So either he fell off a cliff, was hurt, or had a mechanical issue. Remains to be seen what it was.
  14. I think Hiura is getting used to this minor league baseball thing.
  15. This is being discussed on transactions page.
  16. I thought trying to get Patrick Corbin was a bad move. You just never know. Apparently Corbin's velocity is down about 3 mph today....maybe will end up dodging that bullet too?
  17. I do not for a second trust Colorado Springs numbers but he can't be worse than Sogard.
