  1. Probably a little early for an eat crow thread but this is better than an I told you so thread
  2. I think his agent just posted a Jeffress to the All Star game thread.
  3. I don't trust anyone's numbers at Colorado Springs. It's pointless. Can't wait to get out of there.
  4. They really need a banger down low to defend and rebound. Maker has a place on this team but not as a starting center.
  5. Angel Salome, Nicky Delmonico, Zak Braddock.....there have been a few over the years.
  6. Don't worry. I'm fully confident in this board's ability to find another whipping boy.
  7. By the time Hader reaches free agency the whole system might look different.
  8. I wonder if Counsell would have gone to the bullpen in that same situation prior to Braun's AB?
  9. Josh Hader doesn't miss the plate. The plate moves because it's scared of Josh Hader.
  10. I think he'd need a third pitch to be an effective starter. He might have trouble getting through the lineup the second and third time.
  11. Per Fangraphs, Hader as a WAR of 1.0. That ties him with the likes of Sean Manea, Patrick Corbin, and Blake Snell. Pitching WAR
  12. Dude, deserves his own topic.
  13. I think it depends on the opponent. Some teams run a lot and some don't run at all. Also, Vogt was league average throwing guys out his whole career until last season. Either he fell off a cliff, his pitchers didn't know how to hold runners, or he was hurt.
  14. It's literally gotten to the point where if Hader records an out and it's not a K I am disappointed.
  15. I think Davis and Clark are gone and I haven't heard one word about Yancey since he was drafted. Gotta figure they go with Adams, Cobb, Allison...and then take your pick. I'm guessing at least two of the receivers from this year make the team and they stash the other on the PS.
  16. I think the offense is fine as long as they stay healthy and don't play the Cubs every day
