  1. At the very least the Brewers have a couple of guys that can replace Hernan Perez if need be.
  2. I'm not sure it's just for the sake of short starts. I'm guessing Chacin has issues when he gets to the third/fourth time through the lineup.
  3. If only we could manage our pen more like the White Sox. Squad goals!
  4. I'll be there Sunday. (and I thought it was still called US Cellular) Still a boatload of tix available. It's pretty easy on/off freeway access if anybody wanted to drive down for the game.
  5. I know digital cameras can get dead pixels from time to time and there is a way to run a "scan" on them in order to resolve it. Not sure if a TV can do that or not but you should check the owner's manual. Found this online: Fixing Stuck Pixels Pixels may not be dead, but stuck instead. Revive them by placing a microfiber cloth on the bad pixel spot and gently hold the cloth in place with your thumb. Activate the television's power supply and see if this doesn't correct the problem. Another solution is to take the microfiber cloth and gently swipe down the screen of the television. Start in one corner and work you way across the whole screen, lightly pressing as you go. If that doesn't do it then I think you have to get it repaired. I'd go to a Samsung forum and ask about it.
  6. No one said that because he went 5 for 5 and was promoted that he is now untradeable. That is a strawman.
  7. These are your own words from another topic... You know exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to the high level of irrationality that exists on this forum. Yes, so maybe have a bit of fun with it?
  8. Who said he was tradeable?
  9. I foresee great things for this thread.
  10. depends on situation - righty or lefty, how many pitches thrown, how much rest they've had etc. etc.
  11. I feel like the pro game has gotten so physical that refs have become horribly inconsistent when calling fouls.
  12. You can't delete your own posts? I thought you could. Anyone else have that issue? You can, as long as nobody has replied. Once there is a reply, you cannot, as I learned. Oh, ok. Weird. Well I deleted the post you wanted deleted and all the replies.

  14. Gennett. The guy leading the NL in batting average at .340 On the team with the worst record in the NL. He's not a difference maker. Scooter doesn't pitch.
  15. Simple solution, 60 second rule. If you can't figure it out within 60 seconds, screens go dark and call stands by rule. 90 seconds in the playoffs. I prefer the Three Second Rule:
  16. Villar is hitting a lot of singles. His BABIP is over .400. I think he has like 6 extra base hits all year. Unless he starts to hit the ball with some authority his average is going to drop a bunch.
  17. Just sayin' the guy started cold and went on a prolonged binge of above average success.
  18. never. That's been an every game occurrence since I started coming to this site the year Prince Fielder was drafted.
  19. On May 21 of 2017 Arcia's line was .230/.277/.637 From that day forward to the end of the year he went .293/.340/.422
  20. I misinterpreted the tweet. Guy does not know if Happ is included. I have edited my post. Tweet was from George Ofman from WBBM.
  21. Here is the rumored group of players Cubs are offering: Addison Russell, De La Cruz, Little, Lange or Albertos.
  22. I asked a Q about projection systems and the Brewers during Jeff Sullivan's last Fangraphs chat. Basically, he talked about how it is really hard to quantify depth and how much value it provides. I think this is why projection systems undervalued the Brewers last year and (hopefully will) continue to do so this year. As an aside, Jeff Sullivan is my favorite baseball writer. Also, Brewers have the most wins in the NL.
